Unfortunately for Auto Sales Annex and George Mardenli, I’m not the customer to sell a “perfect condition” truck to and expect to get away with it. I paid over 15k in cash for a 2011 Chevy Tahoe in early August after being told it was “highly sought after” and in “excellent condition.” Within weeks, the truth surfaced — it’s been one issue after another. Since buying, the truck has been: • Serviced by my father-in-law (a certified mechanic) to replace a completely corroded power-steering line after George said that that comes with driving and living in New England. • In George’s shop twice for major heat/AC issues and a supposedly “fully replaced” fuel-pump system. • At Chevy twice — once for the airbag (fiberglass) recall and again for engine and cabin air filter replacements. After just two weeks after the fuel-pump “repair,” my check-engine light is back on — and the diagnostic code points right back to the same system George’s shop supposedly fixed and complete replaced. I’ve reached out to George and received no response. I even gave him the chance to make this right before posting a public review — but after weeks of silence, it’s clear that accountability isn’t a priority here. I drove an hour and a half to buy what was promised to be a reliable vehicle, and instead I got a stream of repairs, wasted time, and zero follow-up. As a mom with a 1 year old, I know that I am someone who may appear to be easy to take advantage of, but like I said unfortunately for A & R, that’s not the case.
