They lie to you telling you that they cannot take the GPS tracking system off. They say it’s already installed. Imagine my surprise when I went to register it with Waypoint and they said it’s not installed on the car. I paid for the system and have yet to get my refund.

I liked the salesperson Diego at this location in Santa
I liked the salesperson Diego at this location in Santa Monica. The sales manager Ali is someone that I would never deal with again and would make me suggest you go elsewhere. He was not helpful and he was arrogant and often didn't follow through on a phone call I was supposed to get that day and would not until the end of the next day. He was clueless when it came to the clean vehicle tax credit that has existed for years and then said I'd have to register the vehicle in California when I'm on Nevada resident, he thought it was a state rebate.. This dealership forces you to buy a nearly $2,000 GPS security device so they can profit more off each purchase. If you ask Ali to remove it he will not. I spoke to the sales manager at Kia in Arizona and they do something similar but for a better price and it includes more than just this device.

Fantastic car-buying experience at Kia Santa Monica, all thanks to Jason who is the most non-salesy salesperson (thank you!). Appreciated that he was authentic, timely, and genuinely cared about helping us find the right fit without any pressure or awkward drama. He made the process smooth and stress-free, and we got a great deal on the car we were looking for. Honestly wish we could buy all our cars from him and then go out for a beer afterward. Highly recommend!
