I have been buying cars for 60 years.
I have been buying cars for 60 years. Our salesperson, Amir, was by far the best car salesperson we have ever had the experience of dealing with. He was professional, patient, and knowledgeable. He answered all our questions and every phone call we made to him. He even called back promptly if we did not connect. If it were not for him, we never would have completed the deal. The second half of our experience was dealing with the finance people. That experience was not easy and resulted in our first contract being voided. While the finance part of the dealership did redo the contract the experience was most unsettling. So - yeah to Amir.

Told the contact person I was underwhelmed with the offer presented. Never received anything from you other than form letters from the beginning. Strongly got the feeling your internet person was just going through the motions and was not even reading my responses. To bad really as I?ve purchased several cars from auto nation in the past.

Bought a pre-owned 2025 BMW X7 and drove 3.
Bought a pre-owned 2025 BMW X7 and drove 3.5 hours from Sarasota. The vehicle is excellent and the price was fair, and post-sale communication was prompt and professional. My rating is about disclosure. We were told twice during the sale that the tires were new. They aren’t — the DOT date codes show three original factory tires plus one made in 2023, before this 2025 car was even built, with tread already about half worn. We also learned only after signing that the car had just one key and that a lien still needed clearing. Each may be normal on its own; the issue was being told only after we’d committed. We asked for a fair credit toward replacement tires and, after review, the dealer declined. Advice to other buyers: get any representation about tires or condition in writing, and check the DOT date codes yourself before you sign. The staff were courteous — but verify everything up front.

Matthew Pickton, Service Director refused to fix a defective coolant pipe even though my GLE 350 vehicle was still under warranty. Matthew offered a ridiculous amount of $2,273.37 to fix, that he said was a discounted rate and a good faith estimate from Mercedes. I ended up taking the vehicle to Mercedes-Benz of Delray and they performed all the work necessary to fix the vehicle - all under warranty. I did not pay any out of pocket expense. DO NOT use Mercedes-Benz of Pompano for service. They are awful. Service is the worst.

Hi Bill, we regret to hear that you are displeased with your recent experience with us. We'd like the opportunity to discuss this with you. Please reach out to us at (954) 335-8971 at your earliest convenience to discuss how we can turn your experience into a positive one.
I purchased the vehicle as a Mercedes-Benz Certified
I purchased the vehicle as a Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned vehicle from an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealership on July 29, 2023. The coolant pipe failed in June 2026, while the vehicle was still within the applicable Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned warranty period. The extended warranty listed under the Mercedes Benz Pre-Owned terms lasts until November 16, 2026 The service department at Mercedes Benz of Pompano Beach determined that coolant pipe failure resulted from deterioration of the plastic connector on the main coolant pipe. Significantly, the replacement part differs from the original factory-installed component by utilizing a metal connector instead of the original plastic connector. This design change strongly suggests that Mercedes-Benz recognized a durability issue with the original component and redesigned it to correct that deficiency. The replacement part identified by the dealership (Part No. 91042-006001) incorporates this revised metal design and may require replacement of two assemblies. This was not a wear item, nor was the failure caused by accident, abuse, neglect, improper maintenance, or any outside influence. It was the failure of a critical engine cooling system component during normal operation within the 50,000 mile manufacturer warranty. A component of this nature should not catastrophically fail under ordinary use, particularly within the Certified Pre-Owned warranty period. Because of this failure, the vehicle is unsafe to operate and cannot be driven. Matthew Pickton, Service Manager was rude and combative when asked certain questions about the warranty and stated he was only willing to offer a 30% discount on a $3,900 repair. I did not authorized the repair because I disputed that I am financially responsible for correcting what is clearly a covered mechanical failure. I will not incur a repair expense that I believe is the responsibility of Mercedes-Benz under the Certified Pre-Owned warranty. Mercedes-Benz of Pompano maintains its position that this repair is not covered under warranty and did not provide the following information to support their claim: • The specific provision of the Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned Warranty that expressly excludes coverage for this failure. • Confirmation that a warranty claim was submitted to Mercedes-Benz USA. • The written reason or claim code provided by Mercedes-Benz for denying coverage. • An explanation of why a redesigned replacement part featuring a metal connector does not constitute evidence that the original plastic component was prone to premature failure. I purchased this vehicle specifically because it was represented as a Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned vehicle that had passed Mercedes-Benz’s rigorous inspection process and included warranty protection against covered mechanical failures. Denying coverage for the failure of a major cooling system component is inconsistent with both the purpose and the reasonable expectations of the Certified Pre-Owned warranty program. If the dealership continues to deny coverage without identifying a valid warranty exclusion, there are no other alternatives but to pursue all available remedies, including escalation to Mercedes-Benz USA Customer Assistance, filing complaints with the appropriate consumer protection agencies, and pursuing any other remedies available under applicable law.

Matthew Pickton, after reading a poor review, emailed back to offer an additional $500 to fix the car - which is covered by the warranty. Still refusing to fix a part that is covered, but upon a bad review is forced to reconsider by making a measly offer to entice me to fix the issue at my expense. Poor management.
I purchased a used car from Mercedes-Benz of Pompano
I purchased a used car from Mercedes-Benz of Pompano Beach through AutoNation. Due to a pricing miscalculation by the dealership, I brought a cashier's check for an amount that exceeded the actual purchase price. At the time of purchase, I was assured that I would receive a refund for the difference within a week. After that week passed, I contacted my salesperson multiple times. Initially, I was repeatedly told that a refund check would be mailed to me. Eventually, however, my calls and messages went unanswered. I then contacted the dealership's Finance Director, who again assured me that the check would be sent. More than a week has passed since that conversation, and I have still received neither the refund nor any follow-up communication. At this point, I'm done chasing the dealership for money that is rightfully mine. My experience has been extremely disappointing, not because of the initial mistake, but because of the dealership's failure to correct it despite multiple promises. If you're considering buying a vehicle here, be aware that if the dealership owes you money, you may have to fight to get it back.
