Performed an extensive diagnosis. Notified me of problems I had not know of. I am not pleased about the price, but they seem thorough. Shuttle service is poor. All in all though expensive, very competent, and detailed. I jumped to conclusions in my first review. I would now recommend.

Sunrise Ford Fontana = Poor Customer Service
I purchased a 2017 Ford Escape and love the SUV, the dealership and service is mediocre at best. First, they will state that they will beat any offer by $500, but understand they add $440 worth of non-factory add-ons (door guards a silly anti-theft device). so you will not pay less. I waited over 6 hours for them to complete the sale and have the SUV ready for me to take home. This included over an hour for them to gas up the SUV and when I received the SUV there was mud dirt on the exterior and I had to install the mats myself. I received the Ford Customer Care Survey and rated them "Fair" (which I felt was kind score for the poor customer service I received). I immediately received phone calls requesting I bring the SUV in and they will remove the silly/annoying anti-theft device (requires you type a code before you can even start car) and they would refund me $440. Once I again, I had to take the SUV to Sunrise Ford for this to be removed. I was never notified that refund was issued, so I made numerous calls and emails with no response. Only when I finally stated that I will be taking legal action, I finally got a response stating they refunded $179 and not the $440 that was agreed. Since I have a verbal authorization for the $440, I am now pursuing legal action to obtain the full refund as they stated in a recorded voice message. I will no longer have further business with this dealership. I purchased a 2014 Ford Focus from Fritts and totally regret not buying my 2017 Escape from them. It was easy, painless and they had the SUV I wanted on their lot. Fritts Ford is a significantly better (inventory, price and customer service) based purchasing one car from each dealership. The "we save you $500" is just to get you in their dealership and nothing more.

Used Truck
I bought a certified used chevy truck with a 3 month 3000 mile warranty from Sunrise in Fontana. First off, I paid top dollar for this truck thinking a reputable dealer and a certified used truck was worth the money. Well I was wrong. I didn't have the truck 1 day and the door lock broke, that took 3 days to get fixed. then the window quit working and a speaker didn't work. So I took it back and that took a couple of days to get that fixed. Then finely I got to drive it for a week or so and some flapper thing in the air conditioning broke and the rear leaf springs started to make some noise, so I took it back again. They told me they checked out everything and fixed it and how sorry they are are for the inconvenience and it should be ready to go. Well, now it's back in there and who knows how long it will take to fix it. I miss 1 other time it went in. But, the end result is if they would have done the job right the first time It should not have to be fixed every other week.

No one expects a smooth transaction from a dealer right? Well, if you want to feel like your taken advantage of buy new and buy here. We were there to get a quote on a car got a terrible deal when we apparently have great credit. We went back because on paperwork mistakes which I have read on several forums they have issues with. We were driving around in an un financed vehicle for a month called to ask why we hadn't received out bill yet ford finance said the vehicle isn't financed it needs to be returned scared for what we were liable for we went to return the vehicle which is where we met Rueben the most unprofessional person I have ever come across (Mike and Rueben later apologized to us on his behalf stating that that's how he treats people they don't know why he's still there I guess Michelle or Melissa don't remember her name but apparently she can't handle her staff) called her several times the days she works Friday's until 3 and we've have yet to get call back. We've yet to receive our survey apparently they lose money for a bad survey so I guess it would make sense that they don't send us one. No one would take the keys we then hired an attorney who advised us to renegotiate our deal or return the vehicle no matter who the keys were given too. We ended up sticking with the vehicle to avoid dealing with another dealer but I'm making sure to tell all friends family and social media sites to take there business elsewhere neighbor needed a car and I shared my experience with this dealer so they took their business to another local dealer Citrus Ford. So much for service with integrity. Someone should warn the family owners of the crappy business managers they have working and representing them.

I am glad that Jim reached out to me. As a result of a pricing oversight, was worried the ridiculous low price would not be honored. I am pleased that Jim honored the transaction. Looking forward to giving my friend the Genuine Ford Skid plate and Genuine Ford bolts for his F150. Thanks again!

Bad customer care
When you walk in to purchase a vehicle you are treated like royalty and they will keep you there for hours until you decide to buy.. I am now having an issue with the lining on the door panel on the driver side and they are saying that because it's out of warranty I need to pay for the part... I spoke with Ford Motors and have filed a claim, dealer is saying that the claim has been denied and that Ford Motors is unwilling to fix it! This is a manufacturer issue but neither dealer not Ford Motors is willing to fix it!! When it comes to a manufacturer defect, it has nothing to do with the warranty on the vehicle!! As a customer I would think that the dealer would try their best to do better in order to make the customer happy! I went in today and spoke with Michelle Holguin (Customer Relations Manager) After speaking with her I realized that Sunrise Ford is all about selling not about good customer care! I do not recommend this dealer since they don't care about the problems with their vehicles! I am a first time Ford buyer and because of the way I was treated today, this is my last time buying a Ford and I can't wait to get rid of the Explorer that I purchased from Sunrise Ford!! I attemped to speak with the owner but was told he wasn't there, I also tried to email owners to email on website. The email came back as undelivered.

Smog emission diagnostic.
I went into this Ford dealership to get the diagnostic done on Ford F-150 with code reading 0453 ( pressure emission senor code. I had to wait atleast 10 mintues before some one can approach me hook me up with a Service. After ten minues of wait I found my service will be Lady A. I waited for her another 20 minutes. She came and answered all my questions in yes or no. The initial paper work was done and It showed that I will be done by 2 pm. Not hearing back from the Service Rep till 4pm. I called and found out that the truck will now be put up on the Hoise for the Mechanic to take a look at it. I said fine at or around 5 pm . I got a call that I need to authroize lowering of the gast Tank. I go here came the taxi cab meter. I did not authorize the job and asked to pick up the truck. Once I got to the dealershp , I talked on the Rep and also left a Message for service supervisose to call or meet with in the waiting room.. I was explained that we will do a nice job run the emission testing and make sure everything works. I would have to leave the truck over the week end and come pick it up on MOnday. I authorized the job and waited for the service supervisor Lady C to call me. I never got a call back from her. On Monday I remindede the servcie REp A that I left a message for Lady C a supervisor. I got a call and she tried her best to blow the whole situation of close ended communication on HOw busy we are on Friday. I said than do not accept jobs on Friday. In the end I paid hefty amount of money and as I drove the truck the next code showed up. The job was poorly done. Poor customer service and close ended communication. I wll not recommedn this place to any one.

Beware Parts.com & Sunrise Ford parts bait & switch scam
Less long story: Ordered struts for my F150 from Parts.com, Sunrise Ford was the fulfiller. Got a call later from Sunrise Ford telling the advertised price was wrong and they would actually be about 11% more expensive. Long story: And here's why I think they run this scam all of the time. Oscar from Sunrise left me a voicemail about the increased price. I called him back and he began telling me how his manager had looked online and the price was wrong. Then he stopped, asked me what I ordered, then told me he had me confused with someone else. He found my order and went into the same rehearsed scam about how the website had the wrong price and the new price is $xx.

Poor communication
I went in to get my vehicle serviced for new break pads. Service Rep. said it was going to be just a one and a half hour to two hour wait. Three and a half hours pass and I ask about my vehicle and they come up with We do not have break pads for your car until tomorrow. Why wait so long to tell me? had to miss work and spend most of my day there. Also, poor at notifying right away if something else is needed. Like my car needed new rotors too and it took that long to let me know. and just as I am going to get a rental turns out they do have the break pads for my vehicle , just that the mechanic was looking for the wrong ones. Not happy at all. missed a day of work when they said one hour and a half to two hour wait.
