Do not waste your time with this dealership. Called to confirm that they had a car in stock. I was told that it was indeed in stock. Drove 3 hours to buy it and upon arrival come to find do out it was sold the day prior. Waste of my time. Could have went and bought one somewhere else. Very rude

Manufacturer mailer advising possible defect

Official Toyota mailer advising possible brake assembly defect. Serious defect, so took car in believing all inspection or repairs would be covered. Dealer charged me $185.00 for diagnostics because no defect was found. The official Toyota mailer did not mention anything about any charges if vehicle was taken in for inspection of items listed in Toyota manufacturer mailer. Nor did dealership make it clear that if no defects were found, I would be charged for the diagnostics. They had me sign an invoice, I believed this is simply how they track/document work done for business purposes (taxes, Toyota manufacturer reimbursement, etc). Much to my surprise, when I picked up my vehicle, I was charged$185! Another customer heard me and told me they tried to do the same thing to him, and he was shaking his head and said no they should not be charging you, and again stated , "They tried to do the same thing to me." I told them that I shouldn't be charged anything, as I only brought the vehicle in for the brake assembly inspection per the manufacturer notice I received, and nothing in the mailer indicated any charges would be applicable. Furthermore, the dealership did not make it clear to me that if no defects were found, I would have to pay for the diagnostics. If a defect was found, then there would be no charges. As I worked my way up the line of bosses, the treatment and customer service deteriorated the further up the ladder I went. They behaved rudely and told me I signed the invoice, so I had to pay. The boss ( would not give me his name) and told me I had to leave because he was closing for the day. He smirked and mocked me and was so rude. Told me to leave, never wanted to talk to me again and to never come back to the dealership.

Do not buy a vehicle from this dealership. My son bought a new Tacoma from this dealership and the stripping needs to be fixed. Has been 3 weeks and will not return his call. They are a scam. New owner gives Toyota a bad name.

almost purchased a car

I spent nearly all day in the dealer trying to get a deal. I ended up getting 1000$ off so I was going to buy the car. I started signing papers to purchase the car and got asked about 20 times to buy the dealer warranty. I declined every time I was asked... but they continued to push the matter. I got so frustrated with the finance officer that I walked out. Tyler x2 was a great sales rep but unfortunately the finance rep was too pushy when I came to the warranty. I will not be returning to Toyota vacaville.

I leased a RAV4, 3 years ago. A month before my lease was due I went to the dealership to find out how much was owed on my vehicle to see if it was better to keep the vehicle or purchase a new one. I was told to wait until my lease was up. I was explained that the extra miles were going to be forgiven since I was staying with them. I returned to the dealership and spoke to a manager about this and he gave 4 different quotes. By the way they are very sneaky how they try to trick you. No matter what I tried to do they were adding the miles and what was owed on the old car. If I kept the old car I would have paid about $24,000 or more for a 2016 and if I leased a new one over $30,000. Be very alert and check every single word and number before you sign any legal document. Be aware, they only have a few new cars. They are very, very dishonest people.

SUV. Vehicles

Do not lease a vehicle from Toyota in vacaville. At the end of the lease they add charges that you are not aware . Ended returning the vehicle and went to a Subaru dealer and purchased the suv.

sales bait and switch

Buyer beware! I spent 3 weeks negotiating, get several sales people emailing you under the guise of "Vacaville sales team" After finally reaching a agreement on terms , upon getting ready to drive 2 hours, I confirmed everything-only to find out the "pricing" was never fully approved by management, but rather numbers by a sales guy "TJ/Tyler" without the credentials/authorization to actually secure the offer. Almost got me in the door---Don't trust this dysfunctional and misleading staff.

WORST DEALERSHIP EVER

AVOID VACAVILLE TOYOTA! This is the worst car repair experience I have had in my life--dealer is dishonest and has insulted my integrity by refusing to accept a credit card in payment, for no reason except to insult me. We took a 2012 Corolla in for service. First--the 120,000 mile service cost $1200 (I found out later that average cost for that service is $600 or so). Then, they told us we had an oil leak which would cost $3500 to fix, because they had to remove the engine to fix the problem. We went to look at the leak & the mechanic explained that he had to remove a couple parts to get to the part he had to fix; the parts manager said the cost of parts was about $200. The "taking out the engine" was a total lie. One part of the repair was to be paid by an extended warranty. They will not release the car to us until they receive payment from the warranty company. To top it off, they will not accept my credit card in payment. They require cash or certified funds because we have complained about their dishonesty. WORST DEALERSHIP EVER!

Complete garbage, don't let them touch your car!

These people are shady. I took my Tundra in for an oil change just a week before my warranty expired. Had them check everything out and get a full inspection. Came back with rack and pinion repair required. Set a date and time, only to find out "nothin actually was wrong with the truck, made a mistake with initial inspection". Get home and the next day my engine light comes on, was gonna take it in but the light stopped coming on. When it came back on, I took it in and they said my secondary fuel pump was bad. I asked to speak to a parts and service manager, the lady looked at me and said,"We don't have one." I said,"You mean that no one is actually watching over these guys work and being accountable for their mishaps?" Nope! Wanted to charge me $1100.00 for work that a better auto shop is gonna do for $550.00. Who doesn't have a supervisor? I wish I could go to work and do whatever I wanted. I'm definitely gonna get the word out, let everyone know what's up with these people. One guy even said,"Just bad luck I guess!". We'll see what the diagnostic (free of charge by the way) comes up and the history of my vehicle really says. Stay tuned!

This place sucks!

This place sucks! I only gave them 1 star because I can't give them zero. First I went there to order Genuine Toyota mud flaps. They wanted $130, when Toyota's website lists them for $80 MSRP. So then I purchased Genuine Toyota mud flaps online for MSRP. Then I made an appointment to have Genuine Toyota mud flaps installed on my new Toyota. They quoted me $160 to install. No problem there. Next, on the day of the appointment arrive and I show up with my Genuine Toyota mud flaps, which are clearly labeled as so and includes the name of the dealership I bought them from. Finally they refused to install them, because I didn't purchase them from their dealership. So, here I am leaving them a crappy review. I will never have my Toyota's serviced here, I will go to another dealership. F U Toyota of Vacaville!
