I recently completed an out of state purchase of a 2024

I recently completed an out of state purchase of a 2024 Nissan GT-R from Crossroads Ford of Apex. Throughout the buying process, I was told repeatedly that the car was in perfect condition. The dealership communication multiple times that the vehicle had undergone multiple thorough inspections by them as well as their partner Nissan dealership in Wake Forest. When I arrived to see the vehicle, I noticed what seemed to be visible wear and tear on the underside of the front splitter as well as slight misalignment of where the front bumper cover and front splitter meet. Before leaving the dealership, I communicated these concerns to the sales staff and asked them to have the areas of concern reviewed. I was told they were going to take the vehicle to their best body shop and have only the lead technician review or touch the car given the nature and value of the vehicle. The dealership then communicated back to me, several times, that the car was “all good”, never reporting any issues. Taking them at their word, having directly asked about the areas of concern and being told things were all sorted, I proceeded with the $155,000 purchase, which is when my troubles began. Given this car is the one I had posters of on the wall as a kid, what should have been one of the most exciting and fulfilling purchases of my adult life has been nothing short of memorable for all the wrong reasons. MSRP for this car was ~$130,000. Purchase price, $155,000. Total additional spent on repairs for undisclosed damage, ~$7,500. At worst, the dealership intentionally hid the damage to the vehicle and lied about its condition to close the sale. At best, the dealership and everyone involved showed gross incompetence during their multiple attempts to inspect the vehicle. In either case, anyone considering purchasing a pre-owned vehicle from this dealership should exercise extreme caution.

I’m looking for a Ford Explorer or Expedition.

I’m looking for a Ford Explorer or Expedition. I pull into the dealership and I go inside. Everyone is too busy to notice, same thing when I walked around the lot. I try to text saying I’m in the lot…no one came out, and they didn’t ask where I was!?! I have money to put down, am prequalified. I said that in the text. Nothing. I’m disappointed, I was looking to get a vehicle tonight. Sorry if I bothered anyone, thanks

Not Trustworthy Stay Away

Promised vehicle at a price then they backed out. Stay away from this dealership. Sales managers should not be trusted and are the worst I have encountered.

Dishonest

Dishonest. Change stories when called out. Didnt do what they said they would do. Didnt perform one of the ?we owe? items. Say they dont know anything about that particular tonneau cover or how to fix it. Even though they sold it to me. When I can tell they didnt try. Weather stripping that I showed them had come off was Still laying inside cab of truck. Loaner vehicle was filthy inside and out from previous user. Still had trash in it. Trunk full of boxes with garbage in it.

2022 Ford Maverick Purchase

Overall the process was fairly smooth from point of ordering vehicle to delivery. A few small glitches so I can't give all 5 stars but overall would recommend dealership.
