GM negligence on oil consumption problems.

I've had two equinoxes and have oil consumption problems at about 100,00 miles on both the first one cost me $2500 to fix Now the second one is burning oil. I,ve t AKEN my SUV to my dealer to have the oil changed on the recommended schedule and GM has done nothing to fix the problem. I have never purchased a foreign auto but this will be my last GM auto. If you no you have a problem you fix it.

Worst headache, not reliable!

I bought this car pre-owned but with less than 100k. There have been the usual neverending issues everyone is complaining about. The not understandable engine oil consumption and burning. The PVC issue that blows the rear main seal. Window motors burning out, back windshield wiper won’t stay attached. This is just a sad and horrible purchase. No one I know that has bought one of these is having any better luck than me. It’s a constant worry, and I’m still making payments!! It’s beyond frustrating and has made me regret taking on a payment for the alleged reliability of a newer vehicle.

Lemon stay away

I bought a 2017 equinox two years ago. It has 90,000 miles on it and I had to replace timing belt, main rear oil seal and the fuse box. Stay away. Chevy wouldn’t help fix rear oil seal even though it’s a defect in the suv.

So far so good at 140K

No issues so far. All I’ve done other than tires and brakes is drivers front wheel bearing. Car drives very well. Maintained well too. By the book or Even better

Defective vehicle.

This is my forth new Chevy Equinox, and the worst one I ever owned. I Most likely won't ever purchase another one. I want to get rid of it before it cost to much in repairs.

Very clean, excellent value!

Zero mechanical incidents while owning this car, no warranty or recall issues. Professionally tinted windows, and recently installed new tires. Plan on purchasing newer model.

Biggest bang for the buck!

The Equinox exceeds all expectations of a midsize SUV. I couldn’t be happier. It’s very roomy and comfortable and the ride is smooth as glass. I highly recommend this ride.
