2017 Chevrolet Equinox consumer reviews

The cost of this vehicle based on all the standard equipment is impressive. Quality appears to be excellent although have only owned it for just over 3 months. Wish I has bought one with a larger engine, 4 CYL just don't have the get up and go.

I really liked my 2014 - I ran out to buy this 2017 before the 2018 smaller equinox. The 2.4 engine is a good proven 28mpg powerplant and very adequate in everyday driving. I just wasn't sure about the all new engine line-up in 2018.

This car has a sleek design, but the seats are very uncomfortable if you wear shorts. The netting rubs your skin. Also, this car would have been better as a V6 because it doesn't seem to have enough acceleration power, especially when carrying a heavier load. Also, the rear cargo section is a little narrow for cargo. In addition, the rear seats are not very comfortable for a tall person with long legs (i.e. 6 feet tall or more). There needs to be more leg room.

Car meets my needs. Don't want large bulky car! Love all the features. It was exactly what I wanted and plan keeping it for a long time!

Excellent amount of interior space. Plenty of pep and good gas mileage with the 2.9 ltr. I4. Much improved exterior styling compared to earlier models.

Everybody knows beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I personally like the 2017 better than the 2018. Of course I would love the 2018 interior and 2.0 liter turbo of the 2018, but you can't have it all at this price. My wife wanted an SUV, I was looking for one that was affordable good looking and with the most features. After going thru a dozen the Equinox Premier won. It had everything leather, dual power seats, automatic A/C, navigation, power lift gate and in this particular model had the security package with blind spot monitoring, lane keep warning, proximity alert. Also sunroof and premium wheels, just for little over $25,000 with incentives. The down side it had a somewhat anemic 4 cylinder that's fine for around town and cruising on the highways giving excellent fuel economy for its size and weight, but not at all fun when push for passing or spirited driving, it makes more noise than speed. One thing is very comfortable, very nice ride and quiet if you keep the rpms below 3500 rpm. But overall an excellent buy. You would be hard pressed to find a 2017 premier on dealer lots, maybe and LS which I think dealers are stocking to cover the lower end of the price spectrum, because a fully option 2018 is over $30,000 with incentives and is smaller. Regardless it was a very good buy and if past experience repeats itself it should be a trouble free experience

This car is very comfortable and reliable. I always felt safe and confident my teenage son was safe driving it. Love it!

I only purchased my car 2 days ago and I love the way it rides on the highway ... how roomy and comfortable it is ... I love my new car!!!

Drivers power seat adjusts to many positions and also has lumbar support. Also has telescoping adjustable steering wheel, which makes it comfortable to drive, no matter what size you are. Love the great gas milage, beautiful sound system, backup camera, cargo space and leg room.

Great ride for the money I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. Bought this in Omaha at Gregg Young chevy they are fantastic to do business with.
