2019 Chevrolet Equinox consumer reviews

I purchased this vehicle sight unseen, used. I test drove an identical vehicle and loved it. My Equinox far exceeded my expectations! So far in the nearly 2/3 years of ownership, I continue to average 34 mpg, I couldn't be happier! Goes through the snow like a trooper and handles very well on icy roads. I do not like the auto stop/start, there is a hesitation and could pose a problem, no one will disconnect it for me! I am having a fuel problem! Very frightening, no one seems to find the problem!!! You can smell raw gasoline while: starting, idling at a stop sign, driving down the road and even after shutting the vehicle off - very frightening - no one can find the problem but they can sure smell the gasoline! It's frightening enough that I've removed my husband's oxygen tanks from the back and we no longer wear seat belts for a just in case moment. Since the gasoline smell the vehicle has become hard to start. Other than the gasoline smell/leak & auto stop/start the vehicle is perfect!

Had it 4 years. Everything o k but back breakes seem to need to be changed and i only have 16,000 km. Does g.m. have a recall for that?

Rides pretty good. Seats 5 comfortable. Gas mileage is horrible. I get under 20😥 Mostly interstate and highway miles. Back hitch cover would never stay on. Brought granddaughter same car - same problems.

Turbo broke before 20,000 miles and immediately shut down car without warning leaving us stranded. Leaving dealership and another part broke within 2 miles resulting in immediately turning around and going back to dealership. Comfortable and great perks like USB charging ports throughout. But features do not matter if you can’t trust whether the car will break down. Chevy was not helpful with questions and making repair process easy so will not be buying another Chevy product.

Nice I like the car very stylish. Like the set up of the dash. Love that I can talk thru car speakers very nice. The seats are comfortable

This car meets all our needs. Drives great and easy to keep clean. Spacious room inside for traveling. Love the back door automatically opens and closes.

Good vehicle, has turbo, average room, blue is a good color for it, don't like it shutting off when I apply the brakes. Nice for the wife though.
