Good Car for the Time
I bought a car for necessity and not by choice. The car is fine, no better or worse than any other similar car. I owned the Equinox when it was first produced and it was a great car. The current Equinox is not equal in quality, space or drive. I detest the push-button start and all the stuff inside that sends information to Chevrolet without my permission. In other words, it's okay if the price is right but nothing special.

Equinox - great vehicle
Great, reliable vehicle. Owned many vehicles through the years, but the Chevy Equinox has been an outstanding vehicle. Liked this vehicle so much, that I kept my older model to give to my son.

A piece of crap
This is one crappiest car. My transmission will go out I can feel it as I drive but with one month making it two years. I live in and out the shop. I don't remember what three things the dealer fix that took a week. Alternator what's my next problem has my car didn't start. I have a break problem now. I would have better off with a buying use car with 100k miles. Omg..the oil changes. Oh..the guy said it was dirt build up. This was at my second oil change. That was one of three problems. Far a 2006 back Chevy or ok. As they made me drive my favorite car as a loaner Tahoe. No pick-up transmission problems. It's ok to rent not to buy. I loved my 2003 and 1999 tahoe and 1999 Malibu. 1999 was the best a action buy even with half the car parts that baby ran so sweet. Idk why someone replace half of everything in that on 1999 truck. But it ran. My 2019 equinox is my first new car and I hate I got it. I use to love Chevy I knowed they had this problems before in later years in different cars. How hard is it to fix something. Try listening to your employees. know the ones that told you it was crap. I wouldn't give this car paid off t my daughter. I will never buy a Chevy...well just 2003 or 1999 Tahoe. Great years

Choose any other SUV make/model
My 2019 Chevrolet Equinox LT AWD vehicle is by far the worst vehicle I have owned. Truthfully, I don’t own it since my company purchased it as part of a fleet program. Even at the company expense, I cannot remain in this vehicle. The engines stalls, the traction is similar to a slip & slide, the seats are both uncomfortable and fabric has worn excessively poorly. I do not feel safe in this vehicle. On the highway, it seems to be challenging to keep the steering stable if the toad has any bumps, gravel, water, etc. I have been in 3 life threatening situations this vehicle has placed me in. With the significant nature of the recalls, I am surprised to see so many on the road. The last mechanic I went to for routine service said he had never seen one vehicle have so many different issues. I have let my employer know that while I am appreciative of the benefit, I am no longer comfortable with the safety risk I feel in this vehicle.

OK Car
This car meets our needs. We looked at several small SUVs and found this model to be of good value for the cost. We are happy with the purchase.

Very comfortable & useful, fantastic fuel economy
We are approaching 1 year of ownership. The car is very comfortable including on long trips with 4 long legged adults, and very useful with lots of cargo space. AWD works great both in snow and on steep dirt roads with loose gravel. The fuel economy is exceptional! The record so far is 38.4 mpg on a highway only leg, 70 mph, light wind and 91 octane ethanol-free gas (1.5 L engine). I have proof (DIC photo) just don't know if it can be uploaded here. We have just over 9000 mi. Overall fuel economy is 33.7 mpg, but we do a lot of commuting. The car drives like new! It's a great buy, we are very pleased with it!
