Terrible Disappointment

After just 7,000 miles this car has multiple failures and three recalls. Cruise control, rear hatch opening and adaptive cruise features have all failed. The dynamic breaking will suddenly engage going down the Interstate at 70 MPG with no other vehicles or obstacles in sight. One of the four doors will not latch closed unless you slam it shut. GM never told us about the recalls. We had to find out about that on the cars.com website.

not happy

I dislike the 2019 Chevy equinox LS, I like Sirius xm radio no commercials and more music to pick from than local radio, ours does not have it! Should all have it this day in age,no CD player either, not everyone has a smart phone! Has Apple play whatever the heck that is!Vehicle ok to drive like the no key. not comfortable to go long distances, seatbelt sucks cause I’m short rides my neck constantly, if accident will be headless! Hubby bought.

worst car ever

I first brought this car in 2018 and two months later the check engine light came on and the car wouldn’t accelerate past the speed I was going and was told #3 times they couldn’t duplicate the problem at the dealership I purchase the car at and the fourth time told me that the problem was a fuel injection need replacing this is far the worst car I ever purchase

Very good value.

Very good vehicle. Versatile. Good on gas mileage, and great performance. 2.0 liter turbo engine gets 30 mpg on highway, and goes from 0-60 in 6.7 seconds. Dependable.

The PLASTIC Vehicle

Very nice interior styling, But CHEAP PLASTIC all over. It's looks and feels like it will CRACK in any minute. Great informant system. POOR Stop/Start engine technology. VERY POOR sound system and speakers, the WORST I've ever experienced in a vehicle. The sound was so poor, I did not use the Audio. Got rid of it after 9 months.

The kind of car I’ve wanted for quite awile

It is a nice car. The windshield wipers should have been replaced. I am alittle worried about the heater and the sound of the passenger door when it closes

My 2013 Equinox was extremely reliable.

Sounds like it is in 1st gear all the time. Open window, close window, ice in summer, etc comes in all the time. Poor gas mileage.

Very economical to run

We went from having a large truck and sedan to this Equinox. It more than meets our needs, has been very reliable and gets 31 miles/gal. It is so nice to fill up and have the bill under $23, then we can get 475 miles per tank. Only complaint is false advertising to get you into the showroom. The dealer I bought from had an ad for this model for $16,999, a good $10,000 off the list price. Of course I didn't qualify for half of the discounts and they convinced me I needed the prepaid maintenance plans. Still I am happy with my purchase. Love the folding down back seats. Great for bring home large items.
