Happy with the turbo, will not buy again.

Own a 2017 Hatchback Sport, bought early 2017 with less than 20k miles on it. Issues since bought: 1. FUEL MIXING WITH OIL. PROBABLY THE BIGGEST REASON I WON'T BUY A TURBO WITH THEM. KNOWN ISSUE WITH THE CRV AS WELL. - This is a known issue, engine light turns on and the fuel goes to the oil. Prevalent in colder climates. Honda has come forward and recalled the car with "software updates" 2. Tire Pressure Monitoring System -This turns on, all the time. Even if nothing is wrong on the tire pressure. It is very simple to turn it off but it is super annoying to think you have a flat tire but you don't. Drives me nuts during the winter. 3. Motor of the window broke -I don't even open this thing that much, but broke before 10k miles was hit. Honda honored their warranty and replaced it. 4. Radio broke -Screen blacks out intermittently. Honda replaced it as well. My first car was a 1995 civic and never gave me issues. For a car that has total of 15k miles at this time - this has given me more headaches. Granted, it is fun to drive but heck it is in the repair shop a lot!

Future Car

I'm so happy with my new car. It's exactly what I was looking for. It also had low mileage (about 28k) and all of the features I liked about the new civic model. It's running like a dream and I'm excited to drive again. The car looks really slick and my friends said it looks like a car from the future.

Not Honda’s best.

I’ve wanted an si for a long time. 15 years to be exact. I finally broke down and bought one. At first drive, it was everything I could’ve asked for. At 30 thousand miles, my ac compressor stopped working. Thankfully it was covered under warranty. That was a year and a month ago. Yesterday I got in the car to drive it to the store and what do you know, the ac has stopped working for a second time. I have an appointment tomorrow at the dealership but this is ridiculous. Do your research.

Gem. Great Value

Perfect 1st Car for a college student. Great fuel efficiency. Good mileage. Reliable for commuting on weekends home once a month. Payment works with family budget. Would recommend.

I love my car!

I feel like it is a very reliable vehicle. It is the base model and it shows though. I still wouldn’t trade this car for the world.

It has Air Conditioner problems.

This my second summer and my Air Conditioner already broke. That too in Chicago summer. My owners have shared this problem about civic on internet. Now since the car is new, it is very difficult to find a repair shop which has the diagnostics machine. Even the honda dealer from which I bought the car does not have it.

Beautifully redesign for the Civic

The 2017 Civic is the perfect commuter car. The redesign looks amazing but they also added some pep under the hood which makes for a fun ride. I've owned Honda's for the last 15 years and they've never let me down.

Reliable and efficient

I purchased this car for size and gas mileage. After decades of driving a truck, I wanted to go smaller and more fuel-efficient. This car has averaged 30.9 MPG over 20,000mi. The car is also reliable and roomy enough for 4 adults which is a surprise to me, since it is a coupe. 3 complaints are A/C doesn't get as cold on extremely hot days. The front end is a little low and scrapes on some driveways. I should have considered a hatchback, while the trunk is spacious for most needs there are occasions where I would use a little more clearance. Aside from those things, I will be getting another small Honda withing the next year. A newer version of this one is under consideration.
