Very easy to drive and comfortable to ride in

This car was easy to drive and had lots of features I liked. One of my favorites was that you can start the AC before you get to the car and the car will open up when you get to the car without using the key- I'm often searching for my keys especially at night - this was I can just jump in the car and go.

Unsafe ?luxury? feature

The 2017 Honda CRV I currently own has a very unsafe feature. When you press the button on the key fob and hold it down too long, all the windows and sunroof open. While this might sound great in theory, it truly isn?t. The key fob can be in your purse or pocket and accidentally pressed for too long opening the windows and sunroof. No thought to the times you might be clutching your purse tightly which might cause this, I.e., in a dark area not feeling safe, in the rain, in a crowd! I have contacted Honda and learned this feature cannot be disabled. DO NOT BUY THIS CAR! THIS FEATURE ALONE MAKES THIS VEHICLE UNSAFE.

Great mid-sized SUV

This car has proven to be comfortable, reliable and miserly on fuel. AC works well in the summer Florida sun. Engine is small but mighty and works well with the CVT. Garmin based navigation system has great graphics day or night. Honda link safety features require a bit of a learning curve but are a real effective.

Not for this middle aged or over, couple

Looking for a new suv for my wife. We test drove CRV, Fords escape & edge (even though its out of the same class) subaru, rav4 and the mazda cx5 ( cx5 is top rated safety in this bunch). We went with CX5 but the subaru and the CRV were in the running. My wifes old car is a 2001 rav4 with 250,000 miles on it. But the new rav is just not the same. Looks, feel and all my research on the rav was just not good . If you research it you will see. Fords where a little better but I was not comfy in any seat. These seats these days are more like cockpits ( some like , not me) with the wrap around feeling, too confined in my op. My back starts to get sore on longer trips so I need to shift. CX5 has best in my op. Both driver and passenger raise. I think when my knees start to raise higher then my hips ( Im 6ft wife is 5'9 and we are both heavy from age but not excessive) it starts to get uncomfortable, circulation gets cut off causing leg and back fatigue. My knees hit hard surfaces in both the subaru and crv. Im most likely going to be a passenger most of the time. Cause I like to drive my 2003 F250 and 2003 Harley. So unless mel wants me to drive I dont. No problem. There is more in my research but thats my (and my wifes) main complaints. Safety features and extras are another issue. We are not use to them but want to have them and gradually learn and understand them to the fullest. Most are standard on the CX5. We paid extra for some like HUD, Auto cruise control and high beam for our own easement and safety. I just hope were able to put 250,000 miles on this with very little problems. Just seems to me the more electronics and sensors the more problems as age starts to show. Oh and we like having the same old speedometer not a digital readout of your speed. She fell in love with heated anything. The cx5 has heated front, rear seats and steering wheel and side mirrors (Paid extra for some of these) Im not a big gadget kind of guy specialy while Im driving, my son is and he said the control knob on the cx5 would be a good fit once he gets use to it. He was also very impressed with the HUD and so are we. It keeps eyes on or very close to road. Test drive one and you will not regret it. I am also not ready to invest in a car I hear has gas in its oil by many of its new owners like the Honda crv. The subaru was nice for my wife but not me. We also need good ground clearance for the snow can get pretty deep. This is in our range we like a little more then 7". This is some of what we found and I hope it helps others looking to drop a nice chunk of change for a new and hopefully reliable suv. Test drive then test drive again from another dealer. some will have more air in their tires from transporting them there or for whatever reason . GL

Best car I?ve ever owned

I?ve only had this new vehicle about one week. I?m so in love with it. So much room, very clean exterior look and the inside is breathtaking. While driving it to work, it?s a smooth ride. Very comfortable. Hoping to drive my Honda for many many years.

Wonderful car!

We've had the car only for a week, but it seems to be every thing we hoped for. We researched the car a head of buying it, and it's lived up to the excellent reviews.
