First new vehicle in 20 years

I had a 1999 Buick Rivera for 20 years, sold it and bought a 2019 Murano. I love everything about it. Very stylish and comfortable for my tastes, but sensible enough to satisfy my husband when he drives it. Extremely happy first time Nissan owner.

A lot of bang for your buck!

I had in past time looked at other mid size SUV's before looking at the Murano. I didn't see much in it that grabbed my attention. The 2019 however, has new styling and is bigger feeling inside which helps when you are 79 inches tall! The acceleration is brisk and the ride supple. Interior styling is simple, yet elegant. I enjoy the fact that I am riding up high and can see the road much better than some of the other mid size SUV's on the market today. With all of the pickup trucks and large vehicles on the roads today, it is important to have good visibility. You get that now with the Murano. The sound system is very good and it comes standard with ApplePlay and Android compatibility for listening to your music on your phone. You can either use a media cable or send your music via Bluetooth. And lastly, for the price you cannot go wrong. You get a nice looking ride, All Wheel Drive, decent gas mileage while not sacrificing power, and all this for under 36k.

Still Competing

I purchased this SUV new and have been pleased. Also, combined with the recent incentives from Nissan, I feel like I got a great value as well. I read Cars.com recent SUV comparison where the Murano was a contender and I can agree with most topics but not all. For example, they rated the Murano as having below average ride quality but while researching the vehicle under their “Overview” section they rated the ride quality as good and stating “Ride quality, even with 20-inch wheels.” I did go with the SV trim that rides on 18 inch rims with 65 aspect ratio tires and I can attest that the ride quality is quite good with that configuration. Brake performance is very good, handling is average, and wind/road noise are muted well. Visibility could use improvements but it's not terrible. Also, the interior design and infotainment could use an update but materials quality is above average and the features are good while functioning well. The cargo space works for my size family. One thing worth noting is MPG. The V6/CVT set up with my style driving is yielding around 33 MPG highway which is very impressive. The 2019 updates seem good but I’m still waiting on the IIHS to test it. I’m curious to see how the new headlight performance and additional air bags factor into its safety rating. However, It did get a 5 star rating from the NHTSA. In summary, this SUV is a comfortable, quiet, stylish, and great all around performer that can be had at a fantastic price.

Most comfortable vehicle I have ever owned

This has a great ride. Plenty of room and lots of room in the rear setting area for adults. We looked many different makes and this turned out to be the best.

I love this car!

I've been wanting a Nissan Murano since its redesign in 2015. I finally purchased one this month, and I can't say enough good things about the vehicle! Smooth ride, attractive exterior styling, and comfortable seats. I'm also happy with the mpg (~31-32 mpg on the interstate, thus far - granted, I'm not an "aggressive" driver).

Sharp looking car

Have only had the car a couple days but it is great. We looked at it and then looked at Ford, Honda, Toyota but the Murano is by far the nicest looking car of the bunch. Very happy that we got this car. It replaced a 7 year old Honda CRV and we expect this to be as good or better than the CRV.

I love my Murano!

The night I decided to buy my 2019 Nissan Murano Platinum (Saturday), the finance department was slammed. Since I wouldn’t have the check from the bank till Wed, they were nice enough to let me just take it home with a dealer tag. That Wed I jumped in my beautiful blue Murano, with buttery leather seats and more gadgets than the USS Enterprise, and headed to the dealership with a nice fat cashiers check laying in the passenger seat. About 2 miles from my house I took a massive 10 point trophy buck to the face of my beautiful new car. I hadn’t paid for it yet, and I hadn’t signed papers on it yet. This car is SO amazing that after we got what was left of the car back to the house, we got in our truck and headed to the dealership. We signed those papers and we paid for my poor wrecked Murano Platinum with only 350 miles on it. There is no other SUV that I would rather take a deer to the face in than a Nissan Murano Platinum. I can’t wait to get it back from the body shop so I can actually enjoy this AMAZING SUV.

True Luxury At A Mid-Range Price

I've owned several "luxury" vehicles, and the Murano Platinum compares quite favorably ... and for far less than those with "premium" badges. The recent incentives made it an even better value. Luxury throughout, every conceivable safety feature, quiet, comfortable ride and distinctive styling ... and it runs on regular gas. I'd prefer a bit more responsive steering, but it's hardly a major issue. This is my second Murano Platinum, and the upgrades are substantial. It's a pleasure to drive.
