best looking vehicle i have ever owned.

Toyota has always built quality. I have been a Honda man for 16 years and couldn't appreciate the looks of the new total redesign of the Ridgeline which I have driven for 12 years. I have always liked the looks of the Tacoma and now I am the proud owner of one. Love it!

My wife and I both love this truck.

Very stylish, extremely dependable, lots of power, for maneuvering in traffic, and plenty of room for the family.

Dream Truck

This has been my dream truck for years and a few months ago I was fortunate enough to buy one and it was better than I expected. I have nothing negative to say about the truck as I've only owned it for 2 months but let me tell you I could sit here for hours telling you all of the positives. I used to have a Silverado LTZ and it was great but I didn't have any use for such a large truck. The Tacoma blows it out of the water with style and reliability. I would say maybe the silverado was more comfortable simply due to the size of the truck but the handling of the Tacoma is outstanding. It also gets 20 MPG compared to 14 on the Silverado. This truck is a dream come true.

Toyota Tacoma versus my old Tundra

Traded my Tundra for a smaller Tacoma, while the Tundra was the best truck I ever owned the Tacoma has a lot to live up to but so far leaves a little to be desired. The Tacoma drives great and rides great but lacks power and is constantly shifting gears or slowing down if you don't constantly mash the gas pedal. While I thought the smaller Tacoma would get much better gas mileage it only averages about 19-20mpg where my Tundra got 16-17mpg. So far I guess I'm regretting my trade, no power seats, very little storage inside compared to the Tundra plus a small bed to haul things. Hopefully this truck grows on me since I have only had it for a little over a month.

My new TRD-Pro

I found the truck of my dreams (and apparently everyone else's dreams). My new TRD-Pro is amazing. Fully capable of doing everything I need it to do while being the most stylist truck on the road or trail.

Great except for the transmission.

Transmission shift points render it a poor performer. Seems under powered unless you drive in ECT power all the time. I would have expected more from Toyota.

I Understand The Hype!

I am not a truck person but have always had a soft spot for Tacoma's. I recently bought a brand new 2017 Tacoma with a 6spd manual transmission and have not regretted it. I love the aggressive exterior styling, and the simple, clean and durable interior. The truck is fantastic for an off-road adventure, or hauling my mountain bike to the local trails. It's also comfortable enough for the daily commute to work and even averages 20-23mpg city/highway which I can't complain about. It's a relatively large truck and definitely drives like one, but once I got used to it, it's very easy to drive and maneuver even in tight parking lots. Definitely recommend it!
