Love - hate. Cheap truck with issues.

Had a 16' tacoma, back window was leaking. Was a 4x2 truck, ran great but the leaking window had Toyota submitting into question whether they were going to repair it??? It was under warranty AND a lease. They put me in a 2017 4x4 instead. Now the back window has started to leak like the last truck, it's got 30k miles and the transmission skips and jumps. Numerous calls to Toyota and they will not do anything about it. Sick of these trucks. I'll be calling someone for lemon law as many issues as this has.

Overpriced, unreliable, huge disappointment

I bought a 2017 Tacoma new with 2 miles. It now has 30,000. This vehicle is cheap crap that wasn't cheap at all. Extreme sagging under any load, side mirrors are extremely fragile, stitching in the back seat is coming undone. The traction control on the sr5 is detrimental to driving safety with serious flaws in terrain management and power distribution. Also had to get a TSC wire replaced that had "shorted out", this came one day after driving on snow/ice. Tacoma should be last on the list of new trucks to buy. Huge disappointment for a brand new $40,000 truck.

Love a Taco!

I wish it had a little more torque but I am happy with it. I might re-gear at some point but it's doing ok with the 285/75r16 Duratracs. I wish the driver's seat was further off the floor.

Upgrade for my 2007 Tacoma

A good upgrade from my 2007. Lot of reading to do to get all the benefits from the technology built into the truck. Feels solid and fun to drive.Lot of safety features. Hope it’s as dependable as my last Tacoma. So far so good.

Great truck, a little small

I really love this truck, with one exception I will mention later. The ride is smooth and quiet, The inside is stylish, everybody comments on it. I appear to get pretty good gas mileage for a truck. The seats are comfortable although there’s not a lot of legroom in the back even though I got the full-size. But I got it with the intention of putting the dog in the back not people so that works just fine for me. I am extremely happy that I got this truck, and especially that I got it through Auburn Toyota. The Only issues I have with the truck are that you cannot move the driver seat up and down, and at 5:10 my head hits the ceiling and there’s really nothing to do about it only issues I have with the track are that you cannot move the driver seat up and down, and at 5 foot 10 my head hits the ceiling and there’s really nothing to do about it, Other than put the seat back in a more Lan other than put the seat back in a laying down position but that is not how I drive. Also, the windshield is so short, that with the placement of the rearview mirror I cannot see cars to the right of me at a four way stop. I hope Toyota will work on this issue as it seems quite dangerous. Other than this though I love my truck and it’s like to have it for a very long time!

We are true Toyota fans.

We love Toyota and Tom made this experience the most fun! He made it easy and Irwin had a very good selection of trucks to choose from.

Loud ride

Sounds like the cab has holes in it by the wind sounds when driving . I don’t trust anyone to look into it at the dealership.
