Explore the 1970 American Motors Gremlin

Loved mine all through college.

I owned a 1970 Gremlin with the standard 232 engine and a 3 speed auto. Mine was green with black interior and it was fast. Major problem was the brakes were not big enough fir the power and weight of the car and I went through brakes every 90 days. Nothing else to complain about as I used to blow the doors off all The Vegas and Pintos I could find. I painted the grill to match the car and had stripping added plus a rear spoiler that actually did a great job keeping the rear window clean.

most costly to operate.even worst to repair!!!! warning never buy a new car. this car was a great big mistake. My wife warned me but I did it anyway.Always check for oil leaks and resale values.I did not so it was my error. Also check for maintance and past records on repairs or accidents.
