JD Power's most reliable car of the year.

This car rides and feels like no other. You can try and compare it to it's Japanese competitors, but once you take a good look they simply do not stack up. When you want; power, performance, comfort and reliability all in one package look no further. This car does it all with it's 3.2L FSI engine, it propels itself up to speed with a smooth effortless feeling. While also at the same time saving you gas. The ride is surprisingly comfortable even with the optional 18" wheels. Around town the ride may become a bit bumpy, but once you are out on the highway it becomes no problem. You will defiantly fall in love with the Quattro AWD. This car corners with confidence in mind. Worrying about getting stuck in the snow or on a hill is virtually a thing of the past. Everything in this car works perfectly well, the MMI may take a while to get used to. Once you have it down you will quickly find it is quite easy, and a pleasure to use. With features like adaptive bi-xenon headlamps you'll wonder how you ever drove any other car at night. When traveling at speeds above 12mph the headlights move with the steering wheel to help you see where you are going before you get there. Audi's advanced key system is one of the more user friendly and advanced systems out there. Requiring only the presence of your hand at each door handle it unlocks without needing to press a button. Once in side you may use the start/stop button to turn the vehicle on. If you may ever need to leave the vehicle running, say a cold morning, and need to leave the car. You can lock it with the key in your pocket and the engine on with the push of a button. The Audi A6's interior is second to none. As always with an of Audi's interiors, the cockpit is elegantly designed with subtle aluminum trim pieces that flow rather very well with the wood trim. The leds in the doors and underneath the seats create a warm glow for occupants at night. The entire center console is positioned towards the driver, and every switch/button has a feeling of precision. Winning JD Power's most reliable car of the year, you will rarely see this car seeing many trips to the repair shop. Overall the Audi A6 is a car for those who want a vehicle with incredible driving dynamics. As well as passion & soul each and every time you drive it.

excellent value

This car is very classy and comfortable while handling and power are very nice also. The materials used in the interior are exquisite to touch making for an overall pleasurable experience. If you're looking for a luxury sedan that doesn't require the luxury price this is your car.

Great Perfomance with AWD

While looking for an AWD vehicle we figured we would have to give up performance and fuel economy in order to secure the snow and ice stability we needed. The A6 gives us all of what we were looking for, including performance and reasonable fuel economy (22 mpg avg). It's an initial challenge to master all the on-board systems in this car, but once mastered the car is a quiet, high performance sedan that I really look forward to driving each day.

2005 Audi A6 4.2

An all around great car. Prefer to Mercedes and BMW. The car is engineered to make driving easy and safe. The features work together so well and seamlessly, that you don't notice how pampered you are until you drive another vehicle. Engine, transmission, and all-wheel drive work perfectly together.

Great car with wonderful design, in and out

I really love my 2005 A6, since I waited until this model was availalble. It's a great size, and seems larger than the competitive Accura RS. I've had no problems with this wonderful machine, and the mileage I've gotten on the road is up to 32 MPG. City 23 MPG, if I'm being conservative. The ONLY thing I have a small problem with is the tire noise, and that is probably caused by my 18" low profile Michelins. Very disturbing. Also, the push button to start the car sometimes does not work in the heat, meaning that when the car gets hot in my 108 degree desert weather, it falters, and I have to start it with a key. A quirk the dealer can't fix. Overall, the car is excellent, with easy intuitive controls, not like the insane I-Drive (BMW). I also like the controller on the Accura RL, along with the many hi-tech features my car doesn't have. Great car the RL. I have the 2.7 V6 with 255 HP, and it is absolutely ample and quite powerful off of the mark. Freeway driving is a pleasure, and I and my wife do not get exhausted over long hauls. Brilliant car. Can't imagine what the new V-12 A-8 is like, but I'll test drive it one day. For over $100,000, it should be competitive with the new Mercedes 550S. Beautiful car, except for its extremely dull front end, which has not changed since the early 2000's. Come on, Merc, do something dynamic next year.
