Outstanding car except for the interior

Right size and very powerful. Beautiful exterior lines. Pathetic ergonomics: Cruise control on a separate stalk under the turn signals; no interior cubbies for Kleenex or mints etc. Center console cover not in the right place for resting the right elbow. GPS is programmable by three clumsy ways, but not touch screen. Too much hard plastic in the interior for a car that pretends to be a "luxury" car.

Best driving experience. Period

You get what you pay for. The Q5 looks nice, feels even better, and the safety is second to none. The price tag is worth the peace of mind and the joy factor is off the hook.

So far, so great

Thought it's still just a few weeks old, we've been very impressed with the new Q5. We'd previously owned a 2017 Q3, and immediately noticed many upgrades and improvements to almost all aspects, from safety to comfort to performance.

Smoothest car I have owned

Lot of safety features. Wireless phone charger. Audio system is okay. For the price paid needed a better audio system. Dashboard is okay too. Multimedia screen should have been bigger and should have provided touch feature on it for the price paid.

Beautiful and comfortable

Great car. The ride is extremely smooth and easy to maneuver. We decided to take her on a road trip to Colorado where there was an unexpected snow storm. I was pleasantly surprised how well she handled the roads.

Very convenient, sporty

I love Audis, I owned my last one for 10 years; withstood the test of time. I would like an R-8. But until then I will stick with my Q5.

Athletic

The Q5 is powerful, quiet and smooth. It is athletic as it is well planted, balanced and effortless. The base model is well equipped. I compared mostly with Mercedes GLC 300 and Cadillac XT5 which are both very good cars, but I felt the Audi was smoother with less engine 'thrashing' and a quieter ride.
