2003 BMW 530 consumer reviews

I bought my 2003 BMW 530 I when it was one year old and I still drive it everywhere. I also take good care of it because I wanted it to last a long time and guess what - when you climb in this car it’s like putting on a coat it is that cozy. Best car I ever owned. It’s now 2024 and I seriously thought about getting a new car because I don’t like it in snow but I may have talked myself out of it.

Best car I ever had. Bought it new and have had it 19 years. Still looks almost like new. I have a great mechanic that takes care of it.

Great car for both cruising and commuting. A/c is cold and powerful for hot summer days with all automatic windows working perfectly. Come test drive the car! Serious buyers please

We just purchased car at A&L beautiful shape runs excellent. Needed small adjustment no big deal. I drove Volvo S80 for years this is much nicer

it is reliable and fun to drive car. i have it for 6+ years. i like its performance. the repair cost is high but if you can fix most of the problem.

I have owned two 2003 BMW 530i M sports (E39) and the build quality is second to none. I have also owned many more expensive European sedans and SUV's and I have still never found the balance the older E39 sedan offers. The strong 3 liter 6 cylinder engine in the 530i is the staple of BMW and maybe one the best they have ever developed. The quite smooth effortless power is alway right where you want it and once on an open road the handeling and performance will take away the need for a sports car. Trully a fan of this wonderfully put together BMW sedan and I wonder with all of the new technology advancements such as electronic steering in newer cars will this ever give you the feel of the road like the E39 does?

Brakes are really awesome. Acceleration is really great. If I could buy one again, I would. That is why I am looking for another BMW.

This was my dream car, and wanted to buy it for many years, but not able to afford it. I finally bought is a couple years ago and it has met all my expectations as far as fun to drive. It has lots of power thru all the gears. I went for the 5 speed manual, as I'm a manual enthusiast. All my cars have been stick shift. I especially like the power delivery from the 3.0L straight six engine. Even though the car is 15 years old this year, it has no rust, still looks and drives great.

This is a BMW. They look classy, they drive phenomenal. I love everything about this car except the cup holders and the stereo has very little bass. These cars are solid and great performers for years. Unless you can work on them yourself they can be expensive to have repaired.

If you commute to anywhere over the pass, this puppy is for you. It has the strength and it corners like it was glued. Just watch your speed, 100 feels like 55. The things I don?t like, seat adjustability limited, cup holders suck, and one ding is a billion dollars to fix. Be sure to check fluids and maintenance this car.
