It’s a utility vehicle form drivers!

This 4000 lb behemoth handles like a sports car. I’ve always been a car guy. 3 series coupe or Audi A5. So when I needed room for the family, suvs seemed boring. Then I drove the x5. You really don’t have to compromise. Plenty of room, handling, and a range of engines from capable to frightening (x5m.)

Comfort + performance + styling = Awesome

Comfort + performance + styling = Awesome. They don't call the BMW the ultimate driving machine for no reason. Imagine driving a car that handles and performs like a small sports car, yet is the size of an SUV, and as comfortable as your dad's old Cadillac or Lincoln Continental.

Most reliable car I have owned

It's fast and fun to drive! The B&O sound system is also the loudest I have ever heard in a factory vehicle. The ultimate driving machine!

Overall this vehicle hits all the points for someone needing an SUV but wanting to still have power, handling and luxury. Very pleased with this SUV overall.

Great car for the money

Looks great and drives better! Use the diesel version as a tow vehicle and a daily driver, it is the best of both worlds, luxurious and comfortable and an absolute work horse when it needs to be.

Amazing

2014 BMW X5 50i having 4.4 litre V8 with all the bells and whistles which surpasses all other high end luxury SUV. This is very similar to the M but the 50i is more comfortable on bumpy roads.

Most comfortable and fun vehicle ever!

My wife and I absolutely love the X5! It is very stylish and practical! It is our family car that she mainly drives. She is 4' 11" but still is able to adjust the seat and feels very comfortable and safe driving it with our 18 month old son. Very roomy both front and back seats and still has plenty of room in the back for our baby stroller, groceries and whatever else! The gas mileage is not bad considering the size and power and comes with the optional Eco mode! My only pet con is the controls for the music on the steering wheel! It is placed on the right hand side only foot away from the dashboard controls! Maybe it's silly but my Kia Optima has it the music controls on the left hand side which I find way more logical! But all the around the X5 is my favorite car!

Currently own a 2014 35D and is plenty of fun to drive. Has been a very reliable car and never hesitate bringing it on long trips. Very comfortable and quit powerful.
