Very happy with my purchase

I really like this car. It is the first time that I have owned a Buick. I had a Ford Crown Victoria before. This Buick is smaller, but has a very nice ride.

Great Used Car Value

Replace my 2000 Chevrolet Impala 3.4L V-6 @ 220,000 miles with this CXL Lacrosse @ 104,000 miles. Rides well, and gets 30+ MPG Highway with the classic 3.8L V-6. The only complaints are that the Vacuum Florescent Display is too dim at night and sometimes the right rear door lock gets stuck. This Lacrosse should be good for 250,000+ miles!

Great car for my new college student

This vehicle was a great starter car for my daughter, she loves it. It was a great price, and met all expectations. The car was priced to meet NADA levels also.

Power train is flawless

This car was 10 years old with 48k miles on it, when I bought from original owner. This is my 4th 3.8 with all previous one surpassing 150k miles. The only complaint I have is General Motors refusing to address the power door lock issue that has been going on for decades. When outside temps go up the locks refuse to lock and unlock. Seems to me this is a HUGE LIFE and DEATH safety issue. Rest of car is flawless!!!!

Another very reliable car purchased new from Buick

I bought this LaCrosse CX brand new. It has held up very well and that has made it an excellent value. The best things about it are the reliable powertrain (3800 V6 engine and transmission), the smooth, quiet ride, and the timeless good looks. Obviously, this car is now more than 10 years old. I haven't had many problems to take care of because of always staying on top of the routine maintenance. However, there have been some electrical items such as exterior lighting, dashboard lighting, and power equipment that have required work. I had an early '90s Regal prior to this and that was probably the best car I've ever owned, with this one being very close to it in terms of hassle free ownership and performance. After doing much research back in the day, I am still very happy with my 2008 Buick Lacrosse CX.

Will never buy one again!!

First off, I think we paid way too much for this piece of junk!! We only had it for a few months and the airbag light started coming on and off while I drove. Then when I start the car, sometimes it doesnt even start, and I have to "start" it twice. Then within the first year my fob stopped working, then my whole lock system went on my car, so now we have to manually lock and unlock the doors, which sometimea sets off the "faux" car alarm! Then we have LITERALLY have had NOTHING but problems with the fuel system and sparkplug system non stop for over a year now, we have put close to $3000 into it JUST for fuel injectors and spark plugs! Then, to put the icing on the cake, my car acts as though its shorting out now, things flash on my dash board, sometimes it won't start, now my antilock break system and faction control lights are lit on my dashboard!!! I HATE THIS CAR!!!!! WORST CAR I'VE EVER OWNED!!!!!! If I still didn't owe over $6000 for this piece of crap, I'd trade it in!!!!!!

Good car until you get locked inside

Have had this car for 2 months and doors lock from inside and outside and will not release. First time after about 15 minutes we finally got the drivers door open. Everybody had to climb out through the drivers side. Today only the passenger door did it. This shows as a common problem on this car. This should be a safety recall!! DANGEROUS

A Transverse Wolf In Sheep's Clothing

This is a car for the enthusiast. A rare hidden gem with an ever refreshing kick from its 5.3 liter V8. An excellent compromise between convenience, performance, and reliability. With its three siblings, the Grand Prix GXP, Impala SS, and Monte Carlo SS, the LaCrosse Super is a respectfully niche car. With only 2416 ever sold, snatch one before they dolefully fade away.
