What it is: The five-seat Buick Regal is a midsize sedan with a sporty edge. It’s offered with a choice of three drivetrains, one of which is GM’s eAssist mild-hybrid system. Front-wheel drive is standard and all-wheel drive is available. The Regal competes with the Acura TLX, Volkswagen CC and Volvo S60.
