Love this car
I purchased this car about three weeks ago. I love it. It is so fun to drive and so comfortable inside. I will buy another one at some point.

I've had two great CTS Coupes, one new, one used.
I had a new 2011 CTS coupe back in 2011. Loved the car and always regretted not keeping it. Recently bought a super low mileage 2014 and still think it is probably the best all-around car I've ever had. That includes Mercedes and Porsches. Terrific combination of ride and handling. Are there better handling cars? Of course, but they ride like a truck. The super smooth and quiet 318 HP V6 moves the car very impressively. The fit and finish in the interior is as good as it gets. I read a previous post where an owner was complaining about differential failure and that the diff had been discontinued. I think he is probably misinformed. A manufacturer cannot discontinue a key component like a differential only a year or two after supplying it in a vehicle. Federal law mandates that replacement parts have to be available for ten years after being used in a new car.

Do something better with your money
The only American car I have owned. Car was under warranty when I bought with under 20k on it. If this is the best american luxury car, it's sad. Had so many problems with low miles. Buyer beware. Do some research and believe the ratings.

BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK
Just google and research the Rear Differential that is completely defective on all 2014-15 CTS's. They are only recalling the V series Powertrain / Differential and currently on all models there are no parts in the country to be able to repair it. Owners are left with No solution even those that have been recalled. So nice of GM to do this to their consumers myself included. Beautiful design but your luck if you get 80K miles to 100K miles before the Differential goes bad. GM stopped making the Differential and has turned its back on their consumer. Never again will I purchase a Cadillac or GM due to this. I also purchased it bc it is American made car and reviewing the current economic situation in 2015. Left upside down, No transportation, No Recall as thousands of other owners are in this same situation. And it has pretty much a 5 star safety label on it. Explain how that works when the Differential is locking up at high resulting in deaths of not only owners and families but others on the road as well. I respected the car and my commute to work is a 15 min drive and never maybe 5-10 times a year was on the express way. Yet the Rear Differential went bad. Purchased new used in 2015 with 25K miles. Loved everything about the car until the truth revealed itself to myself and many others that are left upside down with no solution. Some owners back in 2015-16-17 had Differential replaced 3 times in a year back when the part was available and not discontinued. What do you do when your car is in amazing condition and overnight it drops to max $800 bucks in scrap value bc you cant repair it and GM is doing nothing for years now for even those that qualified for the Recall. Even they have waited years and still no repair. Cadillac informed me at my local dealership that there are no replacement Differentials in the USA. Yet due to part or no recall. No solution or vehicle of equivalent value provided. Your told you have to pay for repair outta your own pocket and yet Cadillac cant even provide the part to repair it nor will GM.. I loved that car wanted one for 10 years when the first CTS came out. Told myself I will own one day and when the day came I purchased a 2014 at the beginning of 2015. My friends father told me when I was 16. He loved Cadillacs and hated them at the same time bc they are good for 100K miles and that is it... Well I wish he was still alive today to tell him he was right. Cadillac's are beautiful cars... Its just too bad, that with such a beautiful design and unique look that the Powertrain and more is such junk. It's a disgrace. You want to feel proud of your craft and be the best at what you do. And unfortunately Cadillac is polished turd. I was would have been a Cadillac buyer the rest of my life.... Up until GM pulling this stunt on the owners and population. They are literally getting away with murder when families and people have died due to driving and traffic when the differential locks up unexpectedly. Excuse my language but F*xx GM & Cadillac for this xxxxxxxx..

Biggest disappointment ever..
Expected a performance car as it was listed as that, as it was the Performance Coupe.. looked awesome, interior was beautiful but that's where it ended..very cramped interior space, basically a 2 seater..might as well have a Corvette and have power..wouldn't recommend this for travel.. one Cadillac was enough..love Chryslers. ..300 AWD

Very fun car to drive, and beautiful to look at.
I bought my 2014 CTS Coupe in 2015, and I don't anticipate getting a new car anytime soon. When I saw the car online, I loved the sporty look and design. I have the premium pkg. with black diamond coat paint. I've received so many compliments about it, and at 7 years old, people still stop me and love it. It's been very reliable and only been in the shop about 3 times, and combined, the service totals are under $1500. The 3.6 L scratches my need for speed, it has been to 140 mph without any concern. The Bose system is great, I love loud music which it provides. I love this car. It will make my next car choice will be disappointing I'm sure!

Riding In Style
Exterior is distinctive. Interior especially the dash is very impressive. CUE has a learning curve getting used to. CUE touchscreen is subject to fingerprints and hard to see because of sunlight glare. Excellent performance and comfort.

Third-generation CTS is better than the last one.
By Nearly every measure, the CTS is an excellent option in it's class. It has superb handling and a brawny engine (321 HP) to satisfy drivers who like thrills, and it's high end well-equipped cabin will appeal to those who want a comfortable daily driver.
