Best car ever owned
We purchased a 06 DTS Performance package, loaded with heated & cooled / memory seats /bose 6-cd changer /sun roof/ power sun shade/ Performance package has only 17 more H/P than the other DTS however it really shows, the large 18" chrome wheels and wide tires handles very well. and plenty of power this car is so smooth on the highway you glide at 85 MPH and this car does not float with body roll, Solid car beautiful looks and comfort, watch the speed as this car easily rolls at 80+ mph and you dont realize it, very quiet no road or outside noise my neighbor has a 07 Lexus and admits he likes this car much better and will likely trade to a Cadillac, his Lexus looks like a fancy Camry. My DTS Performance dont look like a fancy impala this car is the best car we have over owned 1-trip to the dealer for warranty item and that was tire pressure monitor thats it in 44,382 miles.

Best car I've ever owned
After driving Lincoln Towncars(5)for many years, and suffering through the LOW resale value, I decided to switch to Cadillac. The Lincolns were barges with loads of cargo capacity and smooth freeway ride, but lacked in styling and innovation. The only complaint I have about the DTS is the turning radius. Hard to judge parking with such a large radius. Everything else is fine. I have 70,000 trouble free miles and it still runs and drives like new. I especially like the heated/cooled seats and the remote start. Many great features on this car. This was a former Avis rental car that I purchased from a Cadillac dealer and it came with the 100,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty.

Most Reliable Car I've Owned
My wife loves it. Cadillac's 4.6-liter Northstar V-8 comes in a choice of two configurations in the DTS. The L37 edition produces an estimated 291 horsepower at 5,600 rpm, while the LD8 is rated at 275 hp at 5,200 rpm. The L37 is designed to rev higher, while the LD8 emphasizes quick launches and has greater peak torque. Both engines work with a four-speed-automatic transmission

We made a very good decision
We wanted a 4 door sedan with a large trunk and a plush feel. We've been delighted with our DTS. It looks great, feels great, our friends and family love it as much as we do. And the car has been perfect in the 21 months we've owned it.

Everything I expected & then some.
This is the forth new cadi we've owned & we both love it. Can't think of a thing I am not happy with. The air cooled seats are a blessing on the few hot days we have. I find myself turning the seats on full cool & the heated steering wheel on at the same time. The massaging seats up front are always on. The adaptive cruise works like advertised & has a crash avoidence alert, as well. HID lights up front & LED's on the rear. Watch the DVD when waiting for the road construction or w/the Grand Kids. Darn Nav system dosen't work in Alaska yet. Tell me how Honda Motorcycles can have a workable Nav system & NONE of the car companys can???????

Many more features than my '02 DTS.
Like the heated & cooled seats. Love the Remote start & the fact that it turns on the seats, either hot or cold depending on temp. The adaptive cruse control works great, & if you just turn it on but don't set the speed, it acts as a crash avoidence sys. The massaging seats up front are always on, we love them. HID lights are what we need in the winter up here. The heated steering wheel heats up fast & feels great, just wish the whole wheel,(360*) would heat up. Not just about 30* around 9AM, & 3PM. Wish the Nav system would work in Alaska. Wish there was a 6 disk CD changer w/ the Nav sys. The DVD works great.

"Most Unreliable Car I've Owned
Purchased a new DTS Luxury 111 in May 2006. Since that time I have had to have the hood repainted, skid plate replaced, tire sensor monitor replaced and the brakes are giving me trouble. Luckily, I had purchased an extended warranty up to 100m miles. I will say that the Cadillac dealer has been most kind and apologenic about my plight. Oh yes, trying to p[ark the car is a real thrill since you cannot see how to judge distance in front of the car. Watc h out or you will tear the skirt off the front end of the car. I hate to talk about a car that I have purchased six times in my life. Hopefully, Cadillac will clear up some of these errors.

DTS
I purchased my DTS in March 2006 and to put it mildly am very impressed with every facet of this car. Cadillac has successfully transformed their full size car from the large boatlike feel and ride to a more sportlike feel and ride. The fit and finish in the interior is near perfection and the exterior is very contemporary. Needless to say, I love driving this car.
