Great luxury for the price.

This is a very good car but it must be driven like the big car it is. I have 115000 miles on mine, bought it with 89000 four years ago. I have had some mechanical issues but all cars do at this mileage. The mpg is low (9-11 local, 25 highway) but the ride makes up for it. The car cant be beat for road trips and I still get compliments on the look of it. I budget 100/ month for upkeep plus 15/month for tires. Over the long haul this has been very close to actual costs for repairs and maintenance. It is a great car .

Disappointed things started falling apart immediat

When we bought the car everything worked 2 days later the remote start stopped working, the back door wont open, the radio won’t turn off after you get out of the car and the computer screen goes in and out. The car drives like a dream and the interior is perfect. I feel we will be putting a lot of money into fixing the flaws

Reliable, big, luxurious, powerful, smooth, great

I found my 2008 DTS in 2017. With 14,000 actual miles from original purchaser. NorthStar engine is torquey, super quiet and very powerful. DTS is a true road car. Very comfortable and average 26mpg letting her breath at 75-80mph. It is a great way travel by any standard you choose. I’ve got a whopping 32k miles on it now. Haven’t had a single issue with components or engine. These later model NorthStar engines do not have the previous early years problems. Originally had a GM 100,000 Powertrain warranty. Of course mine is out due to time. Frosty cold A/C. Would purchase another if were available in a heart beat. You’ll have no regrets if you’re looking for a full-size V-8 road machine. Yeah, it’s an older car now that still turns heads.

I’ve been dealing short while ago this was the mos

I’ve been dealing short while ago this was the most reliable car I’ve owned in a long time however, it has begun to have electrical issues. First something started going haywire with the wiper system for no reason at all the wipers would come on with the washer going and it would run until it was empty or until it burned up. Fortunately I know enough about them that I know how to pull the fuse on the wiper system to make it stop. So I can feel your to start happened once stranded me overnight in a strange place until the next day when it decided it would run again. Couldn’t figure out what the problem was at the time . Then about a week later it did the same thing again this time in my driveway where it has sat for the last 2 1/2 months continuously with the same problem it no longer turns over, therefore you will not start. I have discovered that fuse block underneath the rear seat is the major problem. However at this time I simply cannot afford the $300 for a replacement nor the $700 for the new replacement fuel pump which had burned out Due to the failure in the fuse block

comfortable cruiser

This car was designed for cruising, set the cruise and relax, drives straight as an arrow. It's like sitting on your living room easy chair. Plenty of power for quick acceleration. 29 mpg on the highway and like a tank in the snow with qty 4 Blizzak WS80 snow tires.

My Dad took excellent care of this car!

Runs great. It has new front breaks and a new battery. It was kept in the garage year-round, had regular maintenance service and it was washed regularly. I have all the historic paperwork from past services.

I haven't had it a month yet. not as good as 2004

Lots of gadgets, I hope most of them continue to work. much more road noise than my old 2004 Cadillac. Low profile tires are the pits. Otherwise, it operates well. I just have to get used to lower quality of newer cars.
