2006 Cadillac SRX consumer reviews

Nice luxury accommodations. That being said it does have a lot of issues. First the power steering started acting up, then it started leaking fluid, and eventually wasn't working at all. The radio would show as though it was still working, but there wouldn't be any sound from the speakers. Then the radio would come in and out(as far as the sound), and the power steering would also. Now i somehow broke the drivers side cv-axle. Which i replaced now i need a tie rod on that side that no one can seem to get off to replace. The whole wiring and brain of the operation is to blame. There for awhile when turning on the right turn signal the bright lights would ve turned on and then turned off when the signal did. Now its been acting like it dont want to start and the traction control light will come on and the anti theft system will too. And itll lock up on me and not let me put it in park and therefore wont let me turn the car off and get the key out. Its causing me all kinds if xxxx.

Seems like something new is wrong with it every day. Lights and electrical never function appropriately, from the airbag light to stability control system to speed gauge something new wrong every day. Timing chain went at under 60000.

As soon as you get in, you melt into the seat. Handling, steering and comfort is top notch. A lot of things going on with the command center, but I'll learn it. The sound system is pretty nice with different choices on the equalizer. I haven't pushed the engine, but you can feel the power when you accelerate. Lots of storage in the back and a cargo cover. This is my first Cadillac and I couldn't be happier.

Extremely Comfy. Beautiful and elegant. Lots of compliments everywhere I go. Very safe car for driving anywhere. Especially safe for family’s with children. I would recommend this car for anyone.

This car met all my expectations! Beautiful Inside And Out, Very Spacious, Rides Smooth, has Tints, Tvs, Navigation and Heated seats. Very Nice Sound System!

I bought this car with 129000 miles on it I had the timing chains done plus a new driveline and rear end torque bushings replaced and new battery .Car runs great really enjoy the comfort on long trips handles real well I only paid 3800 dollars for it so it was worth the repairs done.

I drove it about 5 miles,and that was to the shop,it has a popping sound from the transfercase,To which I believe is the chain.The car has 144,xxx miles on it.I thought I was getting a good deal on it, You live and learn.:( .I still love driving the car.

Cadillac comfort, value rich feel. This is a fantastic car, love the retractable roof and the leather interior is great. The sound system and creature comfort are amazing too

this car was everything they said it was and more ! A real pleasure to drive. It had way more power then I expected it to have.

Total overall this is sleek stylish and a very dependable truck,one of the cleanest SRX?s on Cars.com honestly hands down and priced at a very fair price
