1st American Car Purchased

I purchased the SRX for my wife the day after Thanksgiving and the car is wonderful! We had some brake issues but everything was cover under the warranty. Go text drive one and see what you think. We have the AWD version and the gas mileage isn't the best but we love the vehicle. This was the first American car we purchased and I'm very pleased!

THINK TWICE ABOUT THIS ONE

I purchased this car new and I have had so much trouble with this vehicle. Transmission problems, rear end trouble twice, and just finished repair of right front hub bearing. Contacted Cadillac and was told they could do nothing for me about this car. Also it quit on me twice and had to be towed. After a lot of problems with my tires I was told they were checked and found that they were not completely round and replaced by the tire company. I am afraid to travel out of town in this car. I will be so glad when this lease it up. I always thougt Cadillac was top of the line but now I know better. By the way it is a 2007 sport model.

Best vehicle I have ever owned.

This has been my favorite car and I have had many. The paint quality, styling and interior are wonderful. I have owned this car since new and have looked at others to replace it (only because I like driving a new car) and I can't find anything I like better. The styling of the new SRX is disappointing. At 57000 miles it is still smooth and quiet. Gas mileage is what should be expected for it's size and weight.

Wonderful!

I bought this car needing something with the ability for more seating and rear ac for my child to be comfortable. This vehicle is so smooth and easy to drive, it does not handle like some bulkier suvs. The warranty is great and I absolutely love the sunroof that expands to the second seat, the heated seats, and the onstar capability. Very nicely thought out and would recommend to anyone with children. It tells you the tire pressure for each tire, and many other things about the car. This is a great value, considering GMC Acadia's and Chevy Traverse's cost as much or more than this Cadillac!

Fun with Function

My second Cadillac SRX...best car ever! Original giant sliding sunroof, made a bit smaller for 2007, but doesn't have the torque that created a snap, crackle, pop sound previously. Sporty handling, sharp interior upgrades, fantastic Bose sound! V8 definitely worth the extra $ as is the great Navigation system. Only complaint, with third row seat there is very little storage space that is hidden.

The Batmobile

Dubbed by a friend, the batmobile can be found trekking up and down Lake Shore Drive daily. It's called the batmobile for its black on black coloring. This is an incredibly comfortable car to drive with a great stereo and a fun open roof design. The biggest downside is the 13.9 mpg I get in city traffic.

Used Car Bargain

This is a ridiculously nice car that most people (in CA) don't know exists (they bought Escalades). I purchased a loaded CPO 2007 V8 AWD Sport model with 11k miles for $33k (list $52k). They are hard to find on the West Coast. Black color disguises odd styling. Power 3rd seat is for small children only. NAV controls are not intuitive. Gas mileage is mediocre. Black interior is awesome. Huge sunroof. Handles like a sports car. I LOVE THIS CAR!

Hesitates on hills

After 9 months of complaining to Cadillac and visiting dealers about the car hesitating on hills at highway speed, the toque converter module was reprogrammed. This problem should have been recognized early and fixed.

Hesitates on hills

Good handling car, but hesitation on interstate quality hills makes this car a bummer. Cadillac customer assistance and local dealers were not helpful as it appears to be a programming issue between torque converter and transmission.
