2015 Navy SRX

I had 3 Lexus SUV s prior to this & don't care for new Lexus body style. The car is very comfortable & luxurious but the huge sunroof sold me! Great pickup - I'm very happy with this car!

Comfortable and quiet.

The vehicle is great to drive as well as quiet. The ride is excellent. I am tall and have more than enough headroom and leg room. When I'm driving there is still leg and foot room for passengers in the back seat. Some of the reviews I read while researching the SRX noted that the C.U.E. is a challenge; I do not find that to be true. Like anything new the C.U.E. takes some time to figure out; but it works great. It's hard for me to rate the reliability of the car as I've owned it for only a few weeks. The car is as I expected and my expectations were high.

Best Crossover on the market

Plenty of legroom and the gps and touch screen make it a true luxury car. I consistently get compliments on the car from complete strangers. Handles like a sports car.

Great car so far

The SRX has been great. Wife enjoys the styling. Our favorite parts are the CUE system and the drivers awareness package. The stereo screen is known to crack on its own due to temperature changes and we are scheduled to get it replaced under warranty. We went with luxury model. Price was good but it lacks the HID lights and the ventilated seats.

I love my Cadiliac

I am a event planner and I wanted a SUV that has class and style and still remains to be functional for my needs. This SUV is exactly what I need.

2nd SRX - 2010 and 2015

SRX Performance and styling is great. The proven and matured SRX is better for the budget now than the 1st year XT5. Very big brakes are just OK to stop 20in tires with 4200 lbs... Brakes are a little mushy but the SRX stopped very well in emergency hard braking. Deduction after a 1000 mile trip --- very well balanced, quiet, very comfortable ride that handled well at 80mph. Hi-way Sweet spot for MPG is about 67MPH. Acceleration is great. Appreciate the "ECO" mode that got 25 MPG with Shell Nitro. I observed both the SRX and the XT5 at a body repair shop looking closely at the 2 different vehicles with front end damage. The SRX uses much stronger frame support connections than the new XT5. Perhaps, GM thought to lighten the XT5 in the front end. Perhaps, it is just my erroneous deduction, but at the end of the day... I observe the Curb Weight difference is 164lbs: SRX is 4277 whereas the XT5 is 4113 - Thus, not a significant enough weight difference .

Terrible navigation/entertainment system

With the exception of the navigator and entertainment systems, this car is a joy to own. The electronics are difficult to understand and require you to look at a screen to make changes, and not look at traffic. The instructions are wordy and confusing. Trying to save a destination to the system is futile, it's far easier to pull over and ask instructions. The system seems to have been engineered with 20 year olds in mind , not with the age bracket of people who actually purchase these vehicles. Minus the poorly designed electronics system, I'd give this vehicle a 9 plus. The navigation and entertainment systems get a 2!
