Cobalt LT
Purchased a slightly used (2500 miles) 2010 1LT w/chrome package, overall great value for the money, car rides smooth and gets good gas mileage. Not sure how it compares to the new Chevy Cruze but for the $ we could not go wrong. We've purchased multiple Chevy's over the years and the quality, fit and styling continue to improve. (Currently have an '07 HHR 2LT and '03 Impala, both of which have been reliable cars)

So Many choices
In these times of safety recalls this car was a calm choice. Sporty looks, comfy interior and room that fits a 5ft tall small woman to a over 6ft tall sturdy man. The leather interior was a choice for the long wearing I value and need

2010 Cobalt XFE
After buying an 2009 Cobalt Coupe in January, I doubled up and bought a 2010 XFE coupe. Stick is a lot quicker than the automatic, and gets 44 MPG vs the automatics 36 MPG on the highway. Both are LS with the a/c. Couldn't see roasting this summer in a straight XFE base for the few extra bucks.

Buy it loaded, and you'll love the features.
I bought this car as a Certified Used vehicle with 5000 miles, which was virtually new, for my daughter. She originally didn't like the idea of going with GM, finding the Cobalt's exterior styling common, conservative and much less sexy than most Japanese models, but after driving this car and comparing it with a similarly-priced Civic LX, she and I realized that the brakes, power and handling were actually better on the Cobalt 2 LT, and for the same price, she got many added features not on the Civic, including upgraded wheels with locks, a real spare tire, Bluetooth, OnStar with hands-free phone and navigation, an awesome radio with upgraded Pioneer speakers, and an excellent warranty, to boot. ( We did notice a big difference between a base Cobalt's brakes and the nicer model, though, so don't be cheap, and go for the good one.) The Cobalt is certainly no race car, especially with the air conditioning on, but such good air conditioning it has, which has been wonderful this summer. I'm sorry to see the last of this model on the lot, but I'll bet there will be many reliable used cars of this model around in years to come.

Great Car and Super Value...Purchase and Operating
We have had the 2009 Cobalt for about 1.5 years now. So far it has been a super car for us. We consistently get 38 MPG on the highway and if we keep it at 55MPH we have gotten 42 MPH. The car handles nicely and accelerates quickly with a 5 speed manual. We really like the oil change system and the tire pressure computer read out. Changing oil and filter is really easy; appreciate the cartridge filter. Lumbar support would be nice! We had a 2005 Cobalt and would definitely get another Cobalt!

2010 Cobalt
After 6000 miles the 2010 Cobalt has been a very good vehicle to date. The performance and handling are far better than I expected. Overall, an enjoyable vehicle to drive.

I own one and like it.
This is a solid vehicle at a reasonable price. The base model has more horsepower and gets more MPG than other cars in its class and cost less to buy. It also has a 100,000 warranty. The imports are overrated.
