Weak car
This car has no air conditioning. The heater is also very weak as the motor is in the back. The back seat is also very small and only for children. Getting parts and service is no easy since this car is older. The indenendant suspension did make this car easier than most to roll over. The air cooling of the engine makes it over heat in warm climates.

Corvair: A car ahead of its time
My 1964 Corvair Monza, which I have owned for 51 years, is still an attractive, spritely, comfortable and enjoyable car. It, to this day, runs as new. A US Senate subcommittee proved that even the early Corvairs handled very well, which disproved Ralph Nader's contention. The rear suspension was redesigned in 1965, which resulted in even better handling. Corvairs were always successful SCCA road race cars. GM only planned to build them for ten years, which they did. The car-buying public ultimately preferred less economical V8 automobiles. That caused the Corvair's demise, not Ralph Nader, who cannot even drive.
