Pure garbage!!!

I purchased this vehicle 3 years ago. It was GM certified. I have had the oil consumption issue (thankfully was under warranty). 3 months ago I had to replace the transmission $3000 out of pocket , and now the engine blew!!! It’s going to cost me another $3500!!! How the heck does this happen in 3 years on a GM certified vehicle?!?!?!with only 120,000 miles on it!!! Now I understand why everyone is buying foreign cars! I’m so disappointed!

Engine trouble

This is a beautiful car that is unfortunately a lawn ornament in it's current state. Several engine issues, over $7000 to fix. Being a 2011 there is no way we would fix it as we have a loan out and no payments yet made, on the vehicle!

Just purchased

I have driven traverses for 8 years and chevy pickups for 20. I wanted an AWD for my college student. The equinox will do the trick!

Great vehicle for our family

We needed more room for our growing kids and it is meeting all of our needs still to this day! We can even fit our medium size dog in here comfortably!

Money pit. Left me stranded with a junk motor

I bought this car from a dealer ship just over a year ago. Months down the road I had to put new timing chains in it at 72,000 miles. Now at 78,000 the motor has gone out on it.

Nightmare on wheels

We purchased our 2011 equinox in 2015, and the problems started almost instantly. Within a few months the Stabilitrak failed and the moon roof started leaking. Got that fixed and then the airbags started throwing out warnings. Once that was fixed the seat belts started to send warnings as well. The engine consumed oil the entire time (check for the current class action lawsuit) and eventually the timing belt snapped ruining the engine at only 120,000 miles. The car may seem like a great value but you'll pay just as much in maintenance and repairs as the MSRP to keep it running on the road. Avoid this and any other GM cars at all costs!
