This car has a lot of legroom is very stylish and economical. The colors of vehicle are vibrant and I enjoyed all the electronica extras. For example the Intel a beam and the hatch.

Nice Car. Good Features
I enjoy all the technology. I was, however, surprised that the rear view mirror doesn't auto dim at night. The car comes with a rear camera but not a feature from the 2000s. Wow. Otherwise a good car.

Love the new re-design
Very quiet and comfy and that little turbo has power yet great on MPG. Lots of nice safety features. Could use a high quality sound system and more standard features for the sticker price that it is

Chevy has really stepped up its game...but...
The Chevy Equinox was a pleasant surprise! This car was stylish, comfortable and well designed. It had a smooth ride and while the engine made some knocking noise at a higher speed (common among Chevy's) the cabin noise was minimal. The front seats featured a design which hugged your body. The suspension in the car added to its overall comfort. This vehicle has three trim levels. I test drove all three and found the turbo trim to be the most fun to drive. Gas economy is the same as other cars in its class (Honda CRV, Rav 4, Kia Sorento, etc) and Chevy has increased the economy of this car with solid maintenance costs which are lower than others in the same range. The cargo area and overall size of the car is somewhat smaller than the other vehicles I test drove and you will be riding lower to the ground than you do in other SUV's on the market. If you are tall, you need to transport larger items like bikes or other equipment or you prefer the elevation other SUV's provide this is probably not going to be a good fit. In addition, this vehicle has the feel of a more intimate interior. It isn't cramped but you definitely notice the difference. The cockpit is designed to be fun to drive (which it is) but the passenger side and rear seating has the feel of a mid size car rather than an SUV. Chevy can correct this in the next redesign by widening the wheel base slightly and raising the overhead profile. I am sure this will happen in the future. This car boasts lots of technology and it delivers with lots of USB and power ports, Sirius XM, etc. HOWEVER, it lack Android Play and Apple Play which is a MAJOR drawback. If you need navigation you will have to pay for it and satellite is the only option you have other than local radio. Chevy needs to tackle this sooner than later. Why pay thousands more for a NAV system when you can link your phone to Google Maps? Also, in order to enjoy some of the newer features the car offers you will have to subscribe to On Star ( a monthly expense) which is available as a standard option in almost all of the other SUV's in its price point. Overall, I felt like Chevy was nickle and diming me for options and features that are considered common add on's in other brands. I am sure Chevy will address this in the next generation of Equinox vehicles but for now... it was a deal breaker for me. Great car, nice ride, intimate interior but it needs a few design upgrades to put it in the same value based market its rivals are enjoying right now!
