Made with very cheap materials. Very lite weight.

Very dangerous car driving it on the freeway because of its very lite weight. It has all the options but is made with cheap materials.

Great Car for the Money

It drives great and has great style. Minus a few features that should be standard, it's a great value. I would recommend for a commuter car at a great price. It rides well and comfortable interior.

LOVE IT

After driving my used 2011 Chevy Cruze that kept taking a crap on me and every time I turned around I was putting money into it. I broke down and got a Chevy Trax and it is by far the best decision.

Finally a SUV with Great MPG!

Several years ago I had to give up my Jeep because gas mileage was taking its toll on my checkbook. I searched for 4 years for an SUV that was comparable to a full size car. I finally found it! A Chevy Trax, comfort of an SUV, with 37 mpg on the highway. I just love it! I would definitly recommend.

In love

I've owned my Trax for 3 weeks now and it gets great gas millage, easy smooth ride, and lots of great features. Back seat doesnt have much leg room if you're front seat people are long legged.

Very good value

Since I used the reviews on here to help me decide to buy my 2018 Trax 1LT, I thought I should add my observations. I was on my way to buy a Hyundai Elantra and decided to check out the Trax on my way. First positive was the price. Dealer had over $7000 off sticker. During test drive, adequate power, very good features, decent ride for a tiny car. Decided to go for the Trax. Now after two weeks I can give some insight except for reliability, obviously. I went from a 2005 F150 Super Cab 4WD to this so quite a change. I love the new mileage. Rated 33mpg highway and I am averaging 34.8. While my experience has been a somewhat mixed bag, it is overall quite positive. I have 6 miles of not so good dirt roads from my home and the ride is pretty darn good for such a small car, better than the truck sure. I read comments about the Trax being quiet. I find the opposite. I doubt there is much if any sound proofing in the car. While not scientifically measured, it seems louder inside than my old truck. Perhaps the open cabin, but it sure isn't what I would call silent between road, tire and wind noise. The electric power steering has zero feel. No weighting in corners and it actually feels like there is more resistance at low speed. Not saying it's terrible, but you drive mostly by sight and not feel through the wheel. Power from the 1.4T engine is adequate. I didn't get this expecting a muscle car so.... The 6 speed auto seems to hunt just a bit, but I will note that they address that in the user's manual that it takes a while for a 'learning curve' to match the transmission programming to your driving habits. Interior is obviously small, but it's just me and a medium size dog so no issues. Seats are comfortable, the A/C is very effective. Oklahoma 90's and even on the lowest fan setting it gets plenty cold inside. There are no system gauges (temp, oil, alt) but the speedo and tach are fine. The data displays are nice and I enjoy watching the range and fuel mileage data. The entertainment is fine. 6 speakers, adequate sound but nothing spectacular. Wifi and bluetooth are nice. Honestly, aside from the lack of gauges, the only true negative is the small, driver only armrest...no center console at all. I do love the keyless entry and start. It's nice to never have to pull the keyfob out of my pocket. So, overall, I'm pleased with my purchase so far. Only time will tell how reliable and well built it is. Having said all that, if I had taken one more day, I would have instead bought a Buick Encore. Dealer in OKC has 44 in stock with nice color assortment and nearly $9000 off sticker plus Buick offers an extra year in all warranty areas. Basically would have gotten the same vehicle in a color I would have preferred with a better warranty for the same money. I appreciate the previous reviews here on Cars.com that made me comfortable with this purchase.

Just got my Trax

I have only had it for 1 day and I love it. I'm glad I went with my Trax. It's got just enough space for what I need it for. Can't wait to take it on its first road trip
