Power when needed,Serenitywhen desired

The Dodge Charger is really a joy to own,it has all the power any one in todays life style could ever really need or realisticly want.Cruising on a Sunday morning always pits me in a peacful mood it is well put together, handles with little effort, steering responds quickly, with Daytona seats it is very comfortable, and not all that bad on gas.Drive one you will see,and then buy.

Yea, It's gotta hemi !

This really is a great family car with 340 horses and room for three car seats in the back. My likes are exterior styling, great engine and transmission, great handling for a full size car, comfortable seats, very easy to read instruments and information center, and great automatic heat and a/c controls My dislikes are poor cruise control position (it belongs on the steering wheel, not behind the turn signal), sloping windshield takes some getting used to, and no standard transmission offered. Overall I'm very pleased with the car and would recomend it to anyone.

i own one

the car is a super. it drives very well for being a large car. it also has lots of get up and go in the rt or srt8 models. it is a good car for a person who wants some power but need to go to work the next day.

I own a Charger SRT-8

The Charger SRT-8 is about the best value you can get in a family sedan, and still have enough power to blow your neighbor's Mustang GT away. Sure, this car is big and heavy, but with 425HP on tap, it MOVES. And if you read the reviews, you'll know that the Charger line handles extremely well for a big car, not floaty at all. The car is quiet and docile when I'm just cruising in commuting, and when I put the pedal down it roars to life and kicks me back into the seat. The interior design is pretty plain and simple, nothing to write home about, but it is functional and I don't have any gripes about it. The exterior design is the thing that made me choose the Charger SRT-8. The whole Charger lineup looks mean, and I've had everyone tell me that the car is mean, or looks like a monster, etc. Styling is subjective, but if you want a mean car, get a Charger. If you want a pretty car, get a BMW or a Lexus. In summary, the car is quiet, stylish (objectively), powerful, comfortable, and everything EXCEPT fuel efficient. If you can afford the gas for a Hemi V8, then you'll love this car. I've driven the 3.5L as well, and while it certainly has adequate performance, it's not performance engine.

Not a Charger

This car is almost a carbon copy od the magnum wagon from the engine choices right down to the interior. They even both have four doors. A Charger with four doors? If you want a four door with power go for the magnum it even has more cargo room.

Charger's room was tipping point over Mustang GT

I am a muscle car fan, but not a gear-head. I know what I like, strong looks, speed to kick booty, and a good throaty roar. We first test drove a Mustang GT Premium - I have been lusting after these since their re-design. It handled pretty well and had a ton of giddieyup. The throaty exhaust sounded great until you hit overdrive, where you simply heard the engine revving way up. It's fatal flaw was that the seats were all extremely tight. The passenger seat is so tight and has so little leg room, I felt like I was eating the dash board. The back seat is a joke - they should have simply made the trunk larger and saved the trouble (it was comical seeing the sales guy try to act comfortable while riding back there). Then we test drove the Daytona R/T. Similar giddiup. Exhaust roars all the way through into overdrive. Felt in more command of the corners at higher speeds than the 'stang - maybe because of the weight or weight distribution. But as I noted in the title of this, the biggest feature that we really liked was that the car felt roomy! I did not feel claustrophobic as when I rode in the 'stang. The front seats are more ergonomic than the Mustang's and the back seats really will seat another couple of adults in comfort. Nobody seems to mind that it has (gasp!)... 4 doors. Woah. We bought the Daytona Charger - in the brand new color TorRed. We are loving all the attention this car gets! She's one mean-looking crowd pleaser. We even catch Mustang owners giving us looks of envy.
