Best SUV I could find at this price range.

I have owned my Journey for only 6 weeks and only have 750 miles on it. I was looking at Kia Soul, Scion Xb, and the Nissan Cube all in this price range when my wife said she wasn't happy with the size of them and would not feel safe with our grandkids riding in it. I agreed and changed direction. I am retired so I was fazed when the salesman told me I would not win any drag races with it sadly those days are over for me but (but the memories linger) the 4 cylinder has enough pep with the 4 speed auto for us. Gas mileage is what they have listed I get 20-21 MPG city and 30-31 highway. It is equiped with the AVP option and includes every option I ever wanted and a lot I didn't know I wanted but so far all works great, ride is comfortable, seats also. The 8 year old grand kid told me "Papa your car is smokin hot" so it has her seal of approval the wife likes it and I am a happy man.

Worst car I've ever owned

Averaging about 17.5 mpg which is way under what is advertised. The Uconnect does not pair well with the iPhone 4S which has been out for over 6 months. When filling it up with gas you have to put the pump in ever so slightly and correctly otherwise it will click off right away and wont work. Dodge says that the car works perfectly and wont do anything to remedy either situation. I would not buy this car under any circumstance and with their poor customer service I will never buy a Chrysler again.

OUR FIRST NEW CAR

Thanks to DODGE COMPANY for revising this new DODGE JOURNEY,i bought my 2012 DODGE JOURNEY SXT trim with a 19" rim on it and a brilliant crystal black color which is my favorite car color.i've been driving to different brand of cars and styles.but when i drove test this car?OHHH... my G. im so comfortable and sound safe on it.i love to run my JOURNEY into the highways, it has a great horse power which i can compare to other make of cars on its category? and a great MPG. i really love my new bought DODGE JOURNEY. i highly recommend this car to a friend.

First new vehicle my wife has ever had!

The wife seems to like the Journey, but not the milage that it gets, around 18-20mpg but she wanted the AWD with the V6 in it, what do you expect that you'd get. The one thing that you need if you do any winter driving are smaller rims and some good winter tires on them, the 19" on the vechile are worthless in the snow!!! and no one makes a 19" snow tire so you have to drop down to 18".

Love it so far

First off, this is a company car, so I can't give a honest "Value for the money" review, but the sticker on it was 26K. I have had minivans for the last 13 years, so switching to this car was awesome. I have the SXT model with the 3.6L V6 and FWD. I average about 23 MPG, and that is with carrying about 200 lbs. of tools in the car at all times. I am also almost always on the highway. The interior is absolutely amazing. Storage places all over the care. No wasted space in this vehicle. Comfortable in the front and back. Plenty of cargo room behind the back seats. The electronics are awesome. Touchscreen for everything. Interfaces with my bluetooth phone and iPod via USB very well. I have only had it for 6 weeks, but have put 4500 miles on it already. Would definately recommend.

Solid

The miles per gallon are not as quoted. My car is getting much lower gas milage then quoted which was not good to start with. But I do love my car!

GREAT COMFORT AND SMOOTH RIDING.

THE CAR SHOULD GET BETTER GAS MILEAGE THAN IT DOES, ESPECIALLY SINCE IT WILL CHANGE FROM A 6 CYL TO A 4 CYL. 20 MILES TO THE GAL. IS THE BEST I HAVE GOTTEN INCLUDING INTERSTATE DRIVING.

Very nice, from the inside to the outside!! Base offers lots of options, at a very good price!! Average on gas, huge tank!!! High tech feel and features, also impressed with the automanual feature!! Push to start and auto key free door opening, all on the SE. Was looking at exployer/edge, saved a ton instead!!
