2015 Ford Focus consumer reviews

From day one there have been issues, transmission slipping, sometimes leaving me in the middle of an intersection while the car is deciding if it wants to move or not. It constantly overheats and seems as if I am putting gas in it every other day. Ford has refused to do anything. Can't wait until I am able to get rid of the most unreliable car I have ever owned, and I have owned many.

Bought this car for my son who is about to become a licensed driver. Good solid safe car. Great safety features for a base model.

Clutch in transmission went bad at 50,000 miles had it for less than a year has always had transmission issues i do not recommend this car to anyone who?s not looking for stress and a headache

My wife bought this car in 2015. For the forst 20 or so thousand miles it was great. We had a recall on it so we took it in. Ford fixed the clutches in the dct transmission. Ford mnows there is a problem but has no remedy for it. So after 2-3 clutch replacements and a maybe one or two other things related to it; the warranty ran out. Well certain models of focuses got extended warranty to I believe 100k miles. Ford wouldnt extend ours. So thank the Lord we traded it for a kia and so far i am happy with the kia.

This is car is fantastic for commuting to and from work. Excellent gas mileage (36 - 41 mpg). Is is sporty enough to zip around traffic and has all the options to make driving comfortable.

The computer in it had to be replaced, which took ford over a month to figure out their software. The Bluetooth stops working for media after a few months. Clutch has had to be replaced. Drives like it's 30 years old after 2 years. Terrible purchase!

I love it, but the shifting is weird. The check engine light regularly comes on, and the computer that controls the transmission shifting regularly needs to be recalibrated. If not for that, I?d give the car 5 stars. It?s Sporty, has a lot of features, and good gas mileage.

I had to take my car back the first week the dealership said it just needs updates on transmission but it has always felt like it?s not taking off when I start moving. The dealership told me to drive for about 10000 Miles to break in new updates I have taken it back 3 or 4 time and it?s worse now than ever. I believe that if it?s not on recall it should be the transmission has never been right and should be fixed by ford .. I would never recommend this car to anyone..

Looking for a kid car that was economical and safe. This looks like it will do the trick and now I can get my car back to drive!

worst car I ever drove, could not wait for my lease to expire. transmission issues from day one. My one and only road trip to mountains and this car almost stalled out , I actually caused traffic jam on back roads!
