Most enjoyable car I have ever owned

This car exceeded all my expectations as to power, handling, and style. I looked at other sports cars, and was leaning towards the Corvette, but there was no room for storage, much less groceries, if one decided to use it for that! At $71,000 I was trying to justify the expense for basically a toy that I would just drive mostly on weekends, daytrips and possibly weekend trips. And then I happened to pass by a Ford dealer and saw the 2018 Mustang. So, I stopped in to look it over and drive it. The one I chose was the GT premium. When the sales person took me to a remote stretch and suggested I drop the transmission into sports mode, and the suspension into track mode. He then told me to hit the accelerator, which I did, and was completely blown away! 0 to 100 in only a few seconds, just like the Corvette. And the mustang had storage room, and also was over $25,000 cheaper than the Corvette! I bought it! And am so glad I did! I have had so much fun with this car, and my fuel mileage has been averaging around 23 mpg. Awesome!

Great Car

Ride and handling is outstanding. Does not compare to the 2015 - 2017 model year mustangs. Everything feels more premium and upscale. I ended up purchasing the eco boost premium model with performance package. The 10 speed auto as well as the torque bump real helped this vehicle. Test drive one as this vehicle is no slouch on the road.

The most powerful car I've ever owned!

The 2018 mustang GT Premium met all my requirements. From power to Luxury, this car has it. With the programmable 12" digital cluster, you can customize the what you want to display on your info cluster. From gauges to the dash lights, and gauge lights to the interior lights, all programmable. Also, love the Active valve exhaust. With this feature you can program your exhaust noise from quiet (if you like your neighbours) to loud using the Sport+, drag and track mode. So much things to live about this car and the biggest thing I love about this car, aparts from the looks, they bumped the horse power to 460 in the 2018. Love that!!! I would definitely recommend this car to anyone.

Had to test drive the new 2018 Mustang GT.

Loved the feeling you get from driving the 2018 Mustang GT with performance pack 1. My car was equipped with the new 10 speed Automatic that was amazing. Never felt issues where the transmission was hunting for the correct gear. It always kept the car in the powerband. Fast, fun and handled amazing. My dealership let me use the car for an entire weekend. It was hard to give it back, but I needed a car that had a usable rear seat, so I ended up purchasing an Escape. Huge difference between the two vehicles, but I needed the extra room plus summer only tires in the N.East would mean tire changes or parking the car in the winter. Just not cost effective storing a new car during the winter or even wet days. I do love the new GT. Wow!

Perfect Example of a Good Mid-Season Refresh

Being a big Mustang fan (owned many different models dating back to 1970), I had some issues with the new 2015 design. Thankfully, these were all addressed in the refreshed 2018 - new front end and lower hood, outstanding 10-speed transmission, 50 more lbs. of torque and improved sound for the Ecoboost, among others. Great value and performance for a $26,000 car, and I will be eagerly purchasing mine September 1st.

U need a 2018 Ford Mustang Ecoboost Premium

I was very hesitant to test drive the 2018 Ford Mustang Ecoboost Premium, when you hear MUSTANG you think of a GT right off the bat and that sound that no other car maker can duplicate and all those ponies under the hood.. Well I test drove both and ended up buying an Ecoboost.. yea I no it?s not a GT, but you know what...I absolutely love this car. I can?t believe the power this car has!!! Don?t take my word for it, go and test drive one today, it may not have that GT sound but it does have the whine and power of a turbo.. I highly recommend test driving this car and turn the traction control off. You will be pleasantly surprised!! Also if you?re looking for a super friendly, not pushy and affordable dealer.. go to Fair Oaks Ford in Naperville Il they are awesome! Ask for Jonathan He was an amazing salesman. I hope you love the 2018 Ford Mustang Ecoboost Premium as much as I do!

52 YEARS OF MUSTANGS

In 1966 while in the military I factory ordered my first Ford Mustang; a 1966 GT with Pony Interior, HIPO engine with 3 speed stick shift. In February of 1967 I lost a leg while in the service and my Dad picked up the Mustang at the hospital and sold it as it had stick shift. Since that time I have had 8 Mustangs, but I have to tell you that this 2018 Ford Mustang Premium GT Convertible will make you drool all over yourself with the options that it has. 460 horsepower with a 10 speed automatic and electric tuned exhaust that makes it whisper quiet to a vicious growl at the touch of a button. Navigation, Premium sound system, blue tooth, heated and cooled leather seats on this Race Red monster !!! Many safety features that I am still reading about like lane change lights, forward collision avoidance, rear backup safety sensors, warning if you drive over the center or fog lines as steering wheel vibrates to warn you. I could go on and on but this Mustang is like a store full of goodies. Put the top down and enjoy watching the heads turn as you pass by.
