Very reliable vehicle

I love the cargo space and folding 3rd row of seats, plenty of room for my tools and materials. Powerful V8 engine. Great for towing!

Just like a new car...and drives great!

This is one of the best cars that I have ever owned. The car is a luxury car with all of the features would expect to find in a newer luxury car and the drive great, safe and secure in town and on the highway. A great family car!

Most reliable car I have ever owned

This SUV met all of my needs for a luxury family vehicle. It took my family and I on many vacations with room for 7 or 8 passengers and luggage. Then lasted through 4 years of college for my son and still drives down the highway with smooth handling and cold AC. The Envoy XL was one of the best SUV's GMC has ever made.

200,000+ miles and still going

This is a well-built, durable and reliable SUV that, unfortunately, GM killed off in favor of "new and improved" models. While the fuel economy is ~15 mpg, that's about the only disappointment with this vehicle. It handles well, rides well and cabin noise is substantially less than competitive models. It has an excellent tow capacity and is rugged (and I do not have the 4-wheel drive version). I will not get rid of this vehicle until it falls apart and can't be repaired (which at this rate may be another 100,000 - 200,000 more miles).

Amazing Vehicle

Currently driving mine with 172,000 leather seats are nice, has a lot of interior room. Previously owned a standard length 2002 Trailblazer LTZ, the Envoy XL XLT has a much nicer interior, (Still a lot of plastic). Only complaint is the way both rows of rear seats fold down is strange to me, though it only takes 1-2 minutes to find down both rows. Who everever left a bad review because "the mirrors move by them self", it's possibly the the curb view option. My Envoy has that and it's actually pretty neat.
