Reliable
Great family car, very reliable, it was perfect for my wife to take the kids to and from school. Easy to maneuver on busy streets.

Love this SUV
This is a great SUV, we got this 2 years old and absolutely love it,the SLE v6 AWD is great, I thought it was very quick of the mark and love the power this has ! This is my wife's daily driver ours was finished in white and with the chrome package, it looks sooo Good. The only problems we have experienced a couple of times is that the touch screen sometimes is glitchy or the reversing camera comes up yellow !! But then goes away. Anyway... love the style of this and the handling ( very good in the Canadian winter) Would buy the latest 2017 model.

I love my Terrain
I've never had a problem with my Terrain and would definitely recommend it! I live in Minnesota and have never had a problem driving in any kind of bad weather (ice, snow, sleet, rain). It is comfortable and fun to drive. The backseat is even comfortable for long drives which is nice.

Best Value
This has been the best vehicle I have ever owned. I commute every weekend and need a reliable and comfortable ride with all the hours I spend on the highways. At 100K miles I would not hesitate to drive it across the country.

UnHappy
I was very excited and ready to buy a brand new vehicle. I purchased my 2013 terrain Sept. 2012. I thought I was going to be driving away without a care in the world. I was mistake. I understand there will always be wear and tear and maintenance is always a must however I have had nothing but trouble with this SUV. 4 wheel drive often times does not engage Crank Shaft seal replacement Internal oil leak in engine. front struts gone bad ball joints gone bad radio will often times lock and you can't change volume or station unless you restart the car. windows when rolled down make annoying whomp sound. list goes on. Save your hard earned money and buy a different vehicle. Its bad when you owe more than its worth and you don't feel safe in it.

Great Find
I am so grateful I found my Terrain. I'm sure many would argue on the performance given that it is a 4cyl; however, it gets the job done!

Very nice crossover...
Love the body styling and especially the grille. Really nice looking car. Interior is well laid out with plenty of room. One week after buying our Terrain, we drove to Florida from NJ. Absolute joy to drive. We have the SLE so the heated seats really made the drive wonderful. I have to point out the handling of this car in curves; really nice handling. At high speeds, you can drop down to the white line and she will hold the curve. We really love the satellite radio and Bluetooth. The Pioneer speaker system is very nice. This car does not have the AWD option. The four cylinder engine is exceptional on gas but can be a bit sluggish. We absolutely love everything about this car. It's one of those cars that just feels right. Plenty of passenger room and a very generous cargo area. All the bells and whistles and very nice styling. This is truly an awesome car.

Another wonderful GM automobile
I set out to find an AWD V-6 midsize SUV for $20-25k. I've owned GM, Ford, Chrysler and Jeep vehicles for 40-odd years so I focussed on those brands. Using Consumers Report recommendations I narrowed the search to the Equinox and Terrain 2013-15 models but also tested the Jeep Cherokee & Renegade models. Although the Terrain was not GM Certified, it's a top of the line model w/almost all the options I wanted. I love it after 30 days.
