Best car

The best car I’ve had so far, I previously had a Honda accord, this upgrade was the best decision I’ve made in a while. Honestly

CR V for the win

As a Honda faithful I have had 19 Honda / Acura cars over the years and my latest is the 2024 CR V EXL non hybrid. Having previously owned a 2017 CR V touring and a 2020 Acura RDX I can tell you Honda blended the two together. The 2024 CR V has a sportier driving feel, seat position, and instrument layout. The 2024 CR V handles better than the previous generation, but I personally feel it sacrificed a little bit of comfort- particularly the drivers seat. That being said, it’s quieter and more refined than previous generation CR V models. The infotainment system while not a giant screen (9 inches) functions as expected. As others have noted, some content previously standard has been removed such as fog lights (not even an option now) the rear cargo cover, garage door opener, etc. Sadly as automakers are being pushed to make electric vehicles that much of the public does not want - Honda has to save money somewhere to make other vehicles that aren’t viable and won’t sell. Anyhow, back to the 2024 CR V. I find the power train reasonably powerful for its size and around town am getting 28mpg. More highway trips and it’s over 30. The hybrid trim promises better fuel economy but comes at the price of expensive hybrid system repairs down the line unless you only keep your vehicles 8-10 years and accumulate under 150,000 miles. In the end, it’s a nice vehicle to live with everyday and as no surprise is still Hondas best selling vehicle.

Refinement

We purchased our CRV EXL AWD at Honda of Salem Oregon and could not be happier with the whole purchasing process. Highly recommend this dealership. We are biased towards Hondas as I have been driving them since 1977. Our previous Honda was a 2019 Civic EX sedan and we loved it. We had a 2002 CRV and put 100000 plus miles with no issues. This new CRV is very refined. We chose the 1.5 turbo drivetrain because the Hybrid does not have a spare tire. The interior is typical Honda with very simplistic easy to use controls. The exterior is far and away the best looking CRV to date. I have always liked Hondas approach to trim levels and option packages. There are six trim levels period. No need to have to choose among a bunch of option packages. I have read a lot of reviews that say this drivetrain gets poor mileage but I disagree. When you compare the size and efficiency with its competitors it is pretty good. Around town we are getting 26-28mpg and on the highway at the speed limit 55-65mph we are getting 33-35mpg. The CRV feels very solid and it is quiet with good tires. The Bridgestone Ecopia tires that came on it are garbage so that was the first thing that I replaced. I went with Vredestein Hi-trac tires and it made a world of difference. I highly recommend the Honda CRV.

Stuff Missing in '24 CRV..

My old '17 CRV had more features than my new '24 CRV...eg. only an 'idiot' blue light for engine temperature instead of a C to H guage. The built in garage door openers (2) in my '17 CRV , were NOT in the '24 CRV, had find my 1970s 'old style' door clickers & clip on viser...

Awesome Staff

I purchased aHonda 2024 CR-V to replace my 2017 Honda CR-V that was damaged in an accident. It drives well with augmented cruise control and feels a bit more solid than my 2017 The staff was especially positive and helpful!!!
