Paid cash in January 2022 for HR-V LX AWD.

Paid cash in January 2022 for HR-V LX AWD. 27k was cost of car, MD taxes, tags, titling fees, and upgraded fog lights/labor. Slightly over 88k highway miles and 3 years later junk CVT tranny, differential, and a few computer components failed. In my wildest dreams I would have never thought a Honda that I purchased new would crash and burn before 200k. My first Honda, a 1990 Civic, lasted over 300k miles when I gave it to my lil cousin and he decided it didn’t need regular oil changes and locked the engine up. My 2002 Acura/Honda RSX-Type S had 300K when I donated it to a local charity and I beat the heck outta that thing. Needless to say, I’m done with Honda. In fact, I’m done with anything that would not be qualified as a beater. If reliability is no longer built into the manufacturing process, I may as well drive hooptee.

Very happy with my HR-V sport model.

Very happy with my HR-V sport model. Exterior design of the car is very nice Interior is a little small with not much room for storing things. Would not recommend this car to avery large person but for a smaller individual it is perfect, Runs well, has more pick up than I thought it would have. Based on only been driving it for 3 weeks I do recommend it.

I own this car for about 2 1/2 years. I’m not a fan. The seats are uncomfortable. The seat warmer does not work. The heat is awful. I have taken it in to get fixed and they say there’s nothing wrong with the car, but there is hardly any heat in the car. It has OK pick up for a small car.

The HR-V is a great vehicle, however, the option of heated seat is enemic. Have taken back to dealer 3 times for testing and they say there is nothing wrong and meets specs. I changed dealers and got the same resuts. Well my bottom tells another story and have tested both driver and passenger for heat in the dead of winter of winter. There is absolutely no heat from either seat. Tested from current dealer with the same results. Maybe we are jinxs as my wife and other passengers can confirm lack of heat, or, no heat at all.

Good run around car but could be better.

It is a great run around car. There are a few things we didn't realize when we purchased our HRV. Things you don't think about until you go to use them. For example we assumed since there was an automatic rear open button on the key faab it had it. It does not. This is a car we planned to keep for many years (into our old age) and the back hatch is rather hard to close. No review mirror defrost (our 2005 & 2007 Honda's both have this). I miss the option to hold down the unlock key to roll down your windows (this is wonderful to have during the summer months where we live). No automatic unlock button on the passenger side (only drivers side). Everthing shows on the interior (we have cloth). It is almost like it has holes and grabs everything it possibly can.

2022 HR-V sport

I Have a 22 sport in blizzard pearl which I absolutely love with the color contrast black wheels and trim. The look is very sporty yet upscale and sophisticated. Got it 2 years ago for 25k otd another positive. Unfortunately that's about all I care for with the car. Seats are uncomfortable for any long distance. I haven't for the life of me in 2 years found a good seating position, luckily it has a tilt/telescope wheel so I can at least have the wheel at a comfortable spot. I really wish these came with power seats. Around town it feels lite and easy to maneuver even with it's huge rear blindspots. But it is SLOW to get to highway speeds and the cvt constantly fights to find a ratio it likes with the anemic engine. Suspension is terrible. Way too choppy on and off the highway, it really doesn't like any kind of bump. Back up cam works decently. Radio is just bad all around from ease of use to the visuals themselves just looks old and grainy. I'll be keeping it until spring and can't wait to get into something else. Not a terrible car but there are much better options.

Decent for the money.

1 year - no problems. Maintenance service was fast and good. No solutions made that I could find for lowering back hatch for short people, like me. Weatherproof floor mats a nice touch. Decent for the money.

GREAT SUV

Great highway cruiser. Drive it normal and it reacts to your habits. Not alot of get up and go power but it likes to be driven. Great on gas. Would absolutely recommend. Small yet big. Your propped up, not feel like sitting on ground especially when you're getting out of it.

This car is a disappointment

This car sucks, rear passenger complaints no air, only from the front, embarrassing 2022 not like the pilot, that has air flow, worst car I ever bought.
