2019 Hyundai SANTA FE consumer reviews

I have a tall family, and before I went looking I read all the specs on head room and leg . The Santa Fe has a lot of each, I can even cross my legs while sitting in the front passenger seat! The Santa Fe has the safety features I wanted, tons of cargo and storage room and room for long legs!

This car is amazing and I love it. Nice color good engine and drive excellent low miles on it and safety features i recommended the car and the dealer

So far the only real negative thing is the noise level while driving. All other aspects are about what you’d expect at this price point.

We’ve only owned for a few days, but very pleased so far. We bought this primarily for my wife for transporting family and also for work when she needs it (she works from home but occasionally has to make work-related trips). I’m over 6’, and I’ve not had any issues with enough headspace or legroom. Lots of convenient features (some of which we haven’t yet had a chance to try). Drives very well so far and seems very reliable. Look forward to continuing to break it in.

Except for below average mpg and slight turbo lag, everything else is as advertised. Great safety features and comfort options. Will definitely consider leasing the same car again.

So I did a lot of research on this car... I have had it for about a month which is not long at all. The things I think are important to know before buying this is: the engine is the kind that stops when you come to a stop BUT if you press a button you can make sure it does not stop- down side is that you have to press it EVERY TIME you start it... the 2019 allows you to slide the back seats forwards and back, the 2020 does not. The moon roof is nice and big but there is some clicking noise when it is retracted which you will notice when you arent playing music. The stereo plays things in stereo and it sounds like you are in a movie theater which is awesome. The blind spots on the back suck BUT you have sensors in your car to jerk you out of the way if someone is coming up fast on you. This is a hyundai which means it has a low resale value. I would not suggest buying this if you think you wont drive it for long or intend on selling it. The wheels are big, which means they wont handle pot holes well and will be kind of expensive. The interior roof liner is nice, it looks nice, it is nice. the seats are comfortable, and being that it has a turbo the engine may wear out sooner than expected. I don't know how long the turbo will last, or the electronics or transmission, but this car is a nice ride. Obviously, if I didn't think it would last, I wouldnt have bought it. Good luck!

I absolutely love this car. It is comfortable, quiet, and gets fabulous gas mileage. I get 29 mpg around town. This is my families fifth Hyundai with not one problem

This is great. Comfortable, and I can play all my music from a thumb drive when we go on trips. The primary requirement was that luggage AND golf clubs all fit in the back. Works like a charm!
