Awesome car for the price

I ve had this car for 2 months now and love it. Everything is great about this car. The 4 cylinder is peppy enough and it handles very good as well. The best buy in its class

my new car

I have to say that getting use to driving my new 2011 Sonata after years of vans and an SUV- has been interesting. I have decided one week after purchasing this vehicle - that I can get use to it indeed- the gas mileage for one is a lovely feature- I really was tempted to purchase a Camry but the cost was substantially more for their 2011 version. I have not a single complaint- other than some road noise and question whether the low profile tires (specifically to save on gas mileage) is not part of that equation. Oh yes and if you are test driving beep the horn- ! it is silly sounding- minor in the big picture.

Best Vehicle on the planet for the money.

I was going to buy the new Ford Taurus but happened to review this car on other websites and kept on reviewing under I read Every Review on the internet. I decided to take a test drive feeling that this car would not meet my expectations and I would move on to the Taurus. Well this Sonata blew me away. After 3 test drives I bought the Limited with Nav. I traded in a 2006 Lincoln Zephyer which was a great car however the Sonata is a better all around car. Just as quiet inside, better road manners, Great Gas Milage , Better Nav System. Nicer cockpit, Beautiful at nite. The 4 cyl engine has more then enough power. I would still take this car over Buick Lacrosse and the Taurus was list at $10,000 more. I can't believe I bought a Hyundai

Cannot beat this car for the $$$

Killer warranty. 100,000 mile engine/drive-train. 50,000 bumper-to-bumper including roadside assistance! Beats the socks off the competition. No timing chain. Barring an accident, no wheel alignment (or so they tell me). Electric power steering. Sealed transmission. Car was delivered with tires over-inflated by 8psi resulting in some squirrely handling on the road. Pressure should be 33psi. Handling improved when I bled the excess pressure. The car is full of unexpected pluses. Get a knowledgeable sales person to explain them all. Horn totally inadequate. Disappointed in mileage, but at 1100 miles, I feel certain it will improve.

Head turner

I purchased the car two weeks ago and I have had 5 people come up to me and want to take a look. People have said they have seen the commercials on tv, but they haven't seen one on the rode. I took it on a 400 mile trip recently and it was a gas! 35 miles to the gallon doing an average of 75 mph. Love the xm radio and the video screen/tripometer. I looked at the Accord and the Sonata did it for me with the anti-box look.

Sonata Bad Car! (In fact it is quite good)

I travel a lot for work and enjoy trying different vehicles each time I rent. Yesterday I tried the all new Sonata and gotta say that "sonata bad car." (Sorry, couldn't resist). Its exterior and interior design stands out in its category. Fit and finish in the interior were a cut above (loved the piano-black laquer finish on the center stack, and rubberized plastics used throughout). Loved the gauges and all of the electronic bells and whistles (iPhone port was great!). The front seats were well-cushioned without being flabby, and had good side bolster support. Decent rear seat leg and headroom. Handling was on the soft side, but not unexpected given the segment and typical buyer for this kind of car. Still, it goes were you point it, has good bump absorption, and doesn't have any handling quirks. My only complaint was the engine--my colleague and I thought it sounded unrefined; a bit like a piece of farm equipment. But it got the job done and decent pep and freeway passing power. Overall, I was impressed. Now I understand what all of the positive press and accolades were about. This car is a contender and should be considered by anyone looking to buy a midsize car.

2011 Sonata SE

I've had my 2011 SE Sonata for a few weeks now, and I am very impressed. I like others, never thought I would ever own a Hyundai, or any foreign car for the that matter. But the styling got me interested, and the more I reserched, the more I liked. So far the car has been great, fantastic styling, great interior, good power, and incredible fuel economy 36+ mpg average. My SE is alittle different in that is has a full leather two-tone interior which I love, as well as heated front seats. Anyone in the market for a sedan in this class, owes it to themselves to give this car a serious look.

Love the light blue

We traded off a mid size SUV after getting 15 MPG into a headwind on a highway trip. Coming home (again in to a headwind)...33.5 MPG, and not even broken in yet!!! If you are even thinking about a new sedan, you owe yourself a drive in this car. The active handling and the speed sensitive steering are terrific. At parking lot speeds, you can spin the steering wheel with one finger. At highway speeds, the steering has real heft to it -- one of the most amazing features on the car to me. The six speed automatic shifts so smoothly you have to look at the tach to make sure, and the RPM's on the highway are low enough -- even though it is a 4 cylinder -- to make cruising relaxing and silent. The quality of the paint is nothing short of amazing. Makes my high end GM sports car's paint look like it was layered on with a paint roller. The colors and quality of the interior are very impressive. The way that they mix the two shades of gray, the metal trim with the ebony/piano black just reeks of quality and attention to detail and colors. The interior is a very relaxing place to be.......the heated seats (front AND back!!) heat quickly and are just the right temp when they do... We got the Iridescent Blue Pearl paint, and this color changes from Silver to a Light Blue to a darker blue in the shaded areas --- take a look at this color --it is simply beautiful. All of the features on this car make it a great value --- the back up camera even makes me smile -- the quality of the Infinity stereo will please your ears as well. The only reason that I gave it 4 stars in comfort is that with ALL of the features on this car, its a bit odd that the passenger seat is not a power seat --- I even miss the great lumber support on that side that the driver's seat has....And a "little" more oooomph under the hood would be appreciated, but I am spoiled in that area with our other car (450 HP!) -- so take that for what it's worth. More than adequate HP for the type of car that the Sonata is....and the MPG can't be beat......

Love to Drive It!

We just bought a 2011 Limited. We love the styling and comfort! Got over 40 mpg on the freeway! Big Surprise! Hyundai will have the competition scratching their head trying to play catch up on this vehicle!
