Economical luxury

We found the car to have all the "bells and whistles" of a luxury car w/out having to pay the price.

Love it or leave it

I'm 6'3" tall with knees and hip problems. Getting in is a challenge but one I'm in I don't want to stop driving. I love this car.

Poor performance merging on highway.

The car has a tough time accelerating and joining highway traffic. Seems dangerous to me. Also the maintenance costs are terrible. Just paid over $500 for routine service on a 2 year old car - 30,000 miles.

great car, terrible manufacturer support

Purchasing a Hyundai product could be a bad mistake. Hyundai out-sources it's Consumer Affairs function. This group can only forward the issue to a responsible party within Hyundai. However, there is no urgency to then respond to the customer. So, if your problem is outside of what your dealer can respond to, you face great delays - like I have. More than 6 months so far !

Hyundai Customer service is a joke

I have leased a 2015 Hyundai. for the most part it is an acceptable vehicle. However, the cruise control does not work all the time. Since the dealer has been unable to recreate the problem, Hyundai Corporate says that it is not their problem. I found out that they outsource their customer service and that customer complaints are never relayed to the dealer. What a joke. If you buy a Hyundai, do not expect customer service to be part of the deal.

Power, Comfort, Style, Value = Sonata.

We bought a Sonata Sport Turbo 2016 2.0 . I cant believe the power it has in such a small engine. It is quite. Comfortable, i could drive for hours in it. Fuel efficient.

Great Car

I bought my Sonata SE about a year ago and love it. Good looks, handles great and great gas mileage. Its not perfect but its a good value for your buck. Love the fact that it has 4 way disk breaks, if I had to pick on what I don't like that would be the placement of the clock.

From Camry to Sonata ECO

I am a long time driver of the Toyota Camry because of it stellar reliability and smooth ride. However, I recently bought a 2015 Hyundai Sonata Eco and I am quite impressed. The Sonata Eco feels quite composed on the road. The seats are comfortable and ride comfort is excellent. The 1.6L turbo with dual clutch transmission also makes it fun to drive. This car is fast, agile and economical. I am averaging around 35 mpg on highways at speeds between 75-80mph. I don't know about long term dependability because this is my first Hyundai, but the 10 year warranty is certainly nice to have. If you are in the market, take a look at the Sonata Eco. It is a very pleasant surprise.
