Great car for the age, the next owner should have a small budget set aside for maintenance. Other than that it is really reliable, if I had the money I would get another one.

I've owned 2 of these cars of the same year that had similar problems. The check engine light is the current issue, it likely needs a new catalytic converter. It also needs something adjusted that's pparently related to its computer; it revs high -or pulsates- when in park. I has put up a good fight though, and ran like a champ as my son used it hard driving to college and back, and in a very hot climate all summer as he piled on more miles. It's kept running longer than expected considering. [My first one blew a pump and would have cost more to fix than it was worth so we didn't keep it.] I do like the "luxury touring" features; premium paint job, heated side mirrors that defrost by themselves, roomie interior.

Very excellent ride , I put 30k, miles in. 1 year, And the car is still running smooth without a tune up...I would recommend this car to anyone...

My car definitely fits all my needs. Extra legroom in the front as well as the rear seats. I’ve never once had a problem with this model car it still rides like a dream and looks stylish inside and out.

I have 347,000 miles on this car and it still drives exceptionally well , great gas mileage, and a very smooth ride, love all the extras that the cars has. Used a little oil about 1/4 of a quart a month from a leaky valve cover gasket, but everything works, love it

I bought my first i30 7 years ago to commute to college. It has 65,000 miles on it and being a broke college student and a single mom with 4 kids I prayed it would be a good car. It turned out to be an answered prayer! Never a problem other than the brake switch went out twice over a 7 year period. Unfortunately I sold it to my ex boyfriend who recently totalled it going 70 mph, rolled it a few times and came out injured but surprisingly he didn't get hurt that bad. He attributes the curtain sideair bags and God for that. Now my 3rd son is 16 and got a job so after hours of car searching I decided to buy another i30 :) It has 177K just like my old Infiniti had when it was totalled so I am praying again than this car doesn't fail me or my son! It felt so good to drive it again?? best model ever!!

Let me just tell you I purchased this car with 180,000 miles from a schetchy dealer in a bad part of town and I have NO REGRETS! I had the most amazing road trip in Miss Betty (that was her name) and the amazing sound system was especially nice. It always got me where I needed to go even tho I didn't take care of it and it has endless issues by the time I was done with it but it always started. The only reason I don't have it anymore is because I crashed it. It is so comfortable, has SO MANY CUP HOLDERS, and a huge trunk. And you'll smoke people on the freeway in a car 15 years older than theirs.

Besides being average looking on the outside, this car is really nice to drive. It's build is super high quality and will last forever. Highly recommended!

Excellent car, owned it for 18 years with no major problems. Runs like a charm, great room in front and back.

Reliable, comfort, huge interior space. Very few problems if any, no mechanical problems or body. Although a little bit overpriced, it is worthy.
