Best Truck on the market
I've owned them all. My last vehicle was a Range Rover by Land Rover and believe it or not I like my 2008 QX56 better. A very well built vehicle, smooth, quiet and strong. Having 4 kids and pulling a boat was never so easy and fun. great job Infiniti! Thank you for thinking of families like us. I can see this car will provide for my family for years to come. A must experience.

Jumbo luxury and performance
I would recommend this large SUV over any other in it's class. I looked at all of them and tested and researched everything in the full size SUV class. Nothing has more 2nd row legroom. The power is phenomenal. Gas mileage is to be expected around 14MPG for normal in town driving. But, if you are looking to haul a large family in comfort and style with plenty of power to tow even the largest boat, then this is the SUV for you. I like the 2008 styling over the 2011 redesign and the technology in the car is spectacular and luxurious.

The Land Yacht
I was looking to trade up to something larger than my previous Land Rover. It was a toss up between the QX56 and the Audi Q7... the QX56 won because I liked the external styling a bit more. Now after a few months of ownership I am not that happy with my decision. Overall this is a great car with some superb features but the driving experience leaves a lot to be desired - it feels heavy and bloated. Suspension is too soft and leaves an impression of walling when maneuvering at highway speeds (hencs the title Land Yacht). Around town isnt as bad as I thought, the reversing camera is excellent. Interior comfort is very good - like a big fat lush sofa. Kids love it in the back and plenty of room all around : except driver headroom. If you 6'3" or over then expect your hair to be constantly brushing the roof liner, which is annoying. If you want a big comfy car to get you places then this works - if you want a big comfy car but want to enjoy the 'driving experience' then it may not be. I'm trading mine in after 4 months of ownership and 8k miles and looking for something a little more engaging to drive... I dont know what yet...

Infiniti QX56 Great car
Bougth this QX used with 46000 miles on it. It is a great car for comfort, it has all of the little perks that make it very enjoyable to drive. Great sound system, seat can be adjusted to any position you could want. The ony bad part is terrible noise in the transmission. Taken the car to the dealer, several times, they cannot find the problem, you pull up to a red light or stop sign and the tranmission sounds like it is coming out of the car right there, very annoying.

Great ride, countless features
Have had the car a month but compares favorably to Lexus and Mercedes and less costly. Rides great, very comfortable for large driver and passengers as well as gear. Large but not too large. Usual problem with gas (16 MPG combined).

Most unreliable car I've owned!
We own a 2007 and we've had it in the shop 16 times in less than a year. Half our engine was replaced to fix an oil leak and now we're losing our transmission. This car is falling apart on the inside and out. We owned an FX 35 before and never had a single problem...unfortunately this car has not been as nice to own!

Gas Mileage is horrible
Love the Qx56, really love this SUV. I had a 2002 Escalade before and I could not wait to get rid of the Caddy. This is a phenomenal vehicle for the price. I also looked at Lexus 570 and Mercedes GL 450. For what you get for the money, the Infiniti is terrific. I bought a 2008 AWD Qx56 in September 2007 and got the vehicle for under $50,000 (not including California Tax and License) out-the-door. However, do not believe the Estimated Fuel Economy printed on the Window Sticker. I'm getting 9 MPG in the City... 13 MPG on the Highway. And, Infiniti recommends PREMIUM FUEL. Ouch. I tow a 4000 pound boat and the towing on this vehicle is outstanding. Pulling a boat, I get 11 MPG on the Highway. The rear back-up camera is ideal for backing up and hooking up the trailer. You can't miss the trailer tow-hitch with the awesome backup camera and sensors. Again, highly recommend this vehicle. But, look out on Gas Mileage. If you truly can afford this vehicle or any other luxury vehicle, you should be able to afford the gas.

1st SUV I've owned
I just purchased a 2008 QX56 this month and I love it. This is a first SUV I ever owned. I never liked SUV because of it's big size and not luxury enough for me. I currently owned an M5 BMW and an S550 mercedes Benz. I love luxury cars. But since I bought the QX56 for my wife, I have been driving since. I told her to take the Mercedes or BMW and I will take the QX56. The technology and comfort ride is amazing. It looks sharp outside and in. I test drove the Cadillac and Lincoln and either one impresses me. The QX56 is the SUV of the year hands down. The price is reasonable and you get a lot more then Cadillac and Lincoln has to offer. I had since recommended to 7 of my friends.
