I bought my 2015 QX60 Hybrid from CarMax in November

I bought my 2015 QX60 Hybrid from CarMax in November 2022. I loved the comfort and room inside but as I drove it more, I did not like that the headrest wasn't adjustable nor did it have Apple CarPlay. I did the usual maintenance as required and then in August 2025, I took it to my mechanic and was told it needed a new transmission (it only had 136,555 miles on it!). My mechanic said it has a CVT transmission and those are the worst - he would never buy a car with a CVT transmission and won't work on it. I took it to AAMCO that same day (8/6/2025). Well it's now 12/4/2025, and I still don't have the car back. The 1st transmission AAMCO found took 10 weeks to come in & it arrived damaged. The 2nd transmission they sent to Oregon (I live near Sacramento, CA) to be rebuilt. When it arrived at AAMCO there were warning lights, so the OR shop authorized AAMCO to have Infiniti try to determine the issue. Infiniti fixed 1 issue but couldn't fix the other and recommended another new transmission. So now I'm waiting for that 3rd transmission to come in. It was ordered on 11/19/25 but could take months to come in. This one is new and doesn't need to be rebuilt so once it comes in, all AAMCO should need to do is install it. This has been a nightmare! I am out of pocket over $600 in rental costs because this is my only car.

Great car!

This car meets my needs and exceeds them. It has great space, and is very luxurious, but does not always give us the gas mileage that it promises on the EPA rating sticker.
