So much better than prior GMC Yukon
I came to this car from a 2016 Yukon which was a rolling dumpster fire. At 102k miles, I haven’t had a single failure with this car. It tows extremely well, the seat comfort is by far the best I’ve ever owned, I don’t love the exterior styling, but its such a great owner experience that it doesn’t matter. Maintenance is like owning a Camry, cheap and infrequent. AWD system makes driving in all conditions a breeze. Great vehicle.

SIGN ON GATELIFT COVER.
QX 80 is very comfortable driving. Despite it's size, maintenance is great. Thieves often mistaken the rear gatelift cover to be something valuable hidden inside thereby forcing it open and causing damage. May be a sign may be necessary. The current look is nice but attractive to thieves who have no idea of what it is.

Do not recommend. Not reliable
Bought this car brand new and I’ve needed service for it more times than my old used cars. Twice in a two year span I’ve needed a new battery. (car just completely died and wouldn’t start on a brand new car!) as a mom I need a reliable car. I don’t have additional cars to drive when this on faults. The aesthetic of the vehicle means nothing if it’s not reliable. had to also get some electrical board replaced in the first year. Now the engine light is on and the dealership has been impossible to get ahold of. I think something fishy is going on with this company.

Check this before you buy one
I spend so much time at the dealer that I don't need it. First, a new car needed a new battery. They gave me a new battery and then I complain about a rattling sound from the engine. They told me it's normal for a QX 80 to make that sound. Finally, I recorded the sound and brought it to them and they took my car for more than a week

Luxurious beauty.
Most sturdy, luxurious and roomy car I have owned. I feel safe when driving this car, it is a very smooth ride and a noticeable eye catcher, boy am I blessed.I love the body style. The only kick back is the 3rd row leg room is a-little to short, my family have long legs, as long as they don't ride back there its wonderful.

Won us over
Was originally interested in a Toyota Sequoia (we’ve been Toyota fans for years) but checked out the Infiniti QX80 because of the looks and features and chose the QX80 over the Sequoia. Great value for the price point.

QX80 Best Value for the money...
This is our 2nd QX... we had a 2011 QX56 that gave us a great 128K miles. We purchased the 2018 base loaded up and it has not disappointed. We drove the Cadillac, Lincoln Nav and the layout, spacing, design, drivability is as good or better for 20K less. Most notably they have done an excellent job of making the cabin even quieter then the previous versions. Whisper quiet. Best back seat leg room of the entire segment.
