Stylist & affordable, and still a 4 wheel drive.

Good value, great for zipping around town. Roomy enough to carry extra gear, groceries, etc. Very comfortable ride. All controls in drivers area are laid out for convenience.

Trailhawk good comprimise Canadian winters.

The Cherokee trailhawk has some nice safety features like lane assist, parking assist, collision avoidance, active cruise control, etc. Handles rough snowy roads that you see in Rural prairie life in Canada. It handles the highways quite smoothly with all Terrain tires. Plenty of skid plates on Trailhawk again for winter prairie conditions, I actually prefer the body style and light placement better on 2018 than 2019, but hit my head whenever I get into the car due to sloped roof design ( I am a short person). The brakes work very well and multi-terrain options are practical and convenient. Like the v6 engine ( would be nice to be above 300 HP) would never want the 4 cylinder. No comparison between this and other all wheel drive SUV's when it comes to 4 X 4 ability. The high lifting rear hatch has a convenient closing button for short people that is not at the base of hatch but on rear side pillar for all to reach. Towing capacity is excellent for a vehicle of this size and has 4 & 7 pin electrical hookup. Due to its size this is a good vehicle for getting around on busy city streets in summer and especially winter but surround view cameras would make it even better. The 2018 Model doesn't have a power passenger seat. The radio doesn't have an off button, Needs LED headlights and interior lights. Block heater cord design is archaic and inconvenient, Rear hatch doesn't have height programming as well as no foot operated opening. Back passenger doors have no direct unlock feature to load groceries and items from the side. Lacks an in floor cargo area for tools and safety equipment. Most importantly to me is that for the money it should have a 360? surround view camera system like most vehicles in this price category, this feature is good for city driving and parking as well as off-roading for those camping and such. Throttle pedal is too sensitive and Cruise control RESUME function is harsh (no smooth acceleration). Have heard of people having problems with 9 gear transmission, as this is a new vehicle to us we have not experienced any problems as yet. Fuel economy is well below posted figures. Would be nice to disengage the all-wheel drive to conserve gas in summer. Gas tank size is too small, especially for a vehicle that has off-road capabilities where you wouldn't find a gas station. Mopar needs to have more accessories available for all models.

Reliable and affordable

This SUV is awesome. It drives like a car. Has USB ports in the front, in the middle and in the back. It is very comfortable with leather seating and steering wheel. Has touch screen with lots of apps. Heated driver and passenger seats, individual air controls, and SirisXM.

Best Vehicle Yet

Coming from a small vehicle, I was looking for something a bit bigger and more reliable. It handles well in snow, ice, rain and wind. It?s stylish and sleek and extremely comfortable. I am beyond happy with my purchase

Love this car !

I have driven a Jeep Liberty for about 15 years so when I went to replace my latest vehicle and Liberty wasn't an option, I wasn't sure about switching to a Cherokee. I have to say that I couldn't be happier with this vehicle. It rides smoothly, accelerates wonderfully, is incredibly comfortable, and certainly is easier on gas than my Liberties ever were.
